    ❤Beautiful area...and we appreciate the drone shots!

      Thanks dude. The drone shots came out so good and it’s an incredibly beautiful landscape to film. I love our new drone. It’s so much easier to fly and it motivates me to break out the drone more often

    Hail! This is why I paint my a/c shroud, vent cover and max air fan cover with Rhino paint. Kinda like truck bed cover paint. Hail won’t crack or break your covers!

    For best results, when just starting out with fly fishing, use nymphs, and all you have to do is extend your line out and flick it upstream... let it drift down stream until before it starts to surface from the current and then lift and toss back upstream. There's a lot of fly fishing channels out there with nymphing basics.
    Even with regular dry flies or emergers... always look to cast upstream and drift the fly. Once you catch that first one on a fly rod... you'll be hooked. So much fun.
    Also, so real good videos on casting basics to watch.

    Colorado, as far as geography goes, is my favorite state. I especially enjoy the southwest section. I truly admire the lifestyle you work for.

      The geography and landscape here is so awesome. Thanks so much for watching and commenting. Greatly appreciate you taking the time out of your day to be here

      @@thecumminscamper of course. We just came back from a 2 week truck camper trip to Moab, Durango, Taos and Oklahoma. Can't wait to get out again. Also, I need the name of that dish. It looked delicious.

      @@Gidyupcowboy the Omnia Oven? It’s a sweet way to create dishes you’d normally do in an oven. Certain dishes come out better than others but once you learn which dishes you can create well in the Omnia,it’s a game changer. We do a lot of desserts in it.

    Great video! I suck at fishing. However, the scenery going to your camp site was beautiful. The chicken parm lasagna definitely looked delicious. The adventures on your bike and getting snacks is something I'd do. The wine from your neighbor is very cool. I seved 30 years in the Navy and wish more people would be proud of our country. Take care and safe travels.

      Thanks Ben for watching the video and thank you for your time in the Navy. My Dad was in the Navy in his younger years and having many family members who we're in the military is just one of the reasons I am so prideful when flying the American flag. Have a great rest of your Sunday and we'll see you on the next video!

      Ben, jfi, American citizens r the most patriotic country folks ever!
      I'm a baby boomer, when i was a baby my parents moved from canada to usa i was 6 when we returned to canada, on the flight apparently i was singing your national anthem i was taught to sing in nursery school! 😂.
      I read n watch a lot of comments n videos, and see more American flags erected in videos than u realize. Americans r always bragging their pride! So much so, it gets annoying sometimes lol. I don't think u realize how much pride is really out there! A ton!!! Just thought an outsider perspective give u some piece of mind. 🍻

    • @thecumminscamper
      @thecumminscamper  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @@SpykersB but I do think there is an internal anti-American agenda in the US. It’s usually in cities and less common in rural areas but I’ve noticed a decrease in people proud to be Americans, especially the younger generations. I agree overall, we’re a very patriotic nation but I think in the last 4 years we’ve become less patriotic than we were 20+ years ago.

    Eric videos like this are why we watch!!! The music, editing and drone takes have gotten much better in 3 years as well. Congratulations on this success E&M!!!!

      Thanks Jimmy. Greatly appreciate the compliments on the improvements in our videos. I don't know how, when or why things started to click more in my video making. I think part of it was giving it much more effort starting this fall. Up until we started our jobs here in CO I'd been putting out a video a week and I think the repetition of filming and editing amounted to some good improvements. When I watch other folks YT videos I'm always watching for how people are editing and little tricks just as much as I'm trying to enjoy the video for its storyline. Thanks so much for consistently watching and commenting. Appreciate you being here

    The fish will hang out in the Eddie’s or very close the the streams edge to conserve energy and wait for food the pass in 5be current, then dart out and grab it. It is a great scenario if your bait doesn’t look too natural. They don’t have time to look at it!

    You are living the good life, but the only problem with Colorado they’re fishing license

    • @thecumminscamper
      @thecumminscamper  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s an expensive fishing license. The most I’ve paid for any out of state license ever. Thankfully we’re here all summer so it helped me rationalize the cost but it hurt!

    Just stubbled across your channel and my one question is, would you recommend the Cummins or a Gas engine? And if Cummins what sort of spare parts and whatnot would you need to have? Thx great Chanel 👍🏻🇨🇦

    • @thecumminscamper
      @thecumminscamper  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      So glad you found our channel! Thanks for watching and for the comment. Personally I’ll never own a gas truck again. I always buy use so although I’m paying a premium for the Cummins compared to the gas motor equivalent at least some else ate the larger depreciation than I did. To answer your question directly: upgraded billet water pump for when the stock one’s bearings fail, spare thermostat but having owned 3 trucks with 6.7 Cummins in them the only motor issue I’ve ever had that caused me to have to do a roadside repair was a thermostat. Otherwise that motors been a champ for me with a combined 200k miles over 3 trucks I’ve never had a single engine related issue that kept me from being able to press on (besides one bad t-stat)

  • @toddramsay977
    @toddramsay977 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    You should really throw upstream and let the bait naturally come down the current, and pull in your line.

  • @toddramsay977
    @toddramsay977 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    I would look at videos on how to fly fish and give it another try. Y’all are doing it all kinds of wrong except giving it a try!
