The GS looks a different bike when blacked out. Once you own the S1000RR, not many bikes can have you admiration. It is beautiful, smooth, best quick shifter and auto blipper in the market, BMW offers 5 years warranty which is amazing. The electronics has saved my ass a couple of times. Great suspension and brake system. The handlebars vibrate like shit though.
Had you started using one of those hard top bags.......I might have been tempted to give you $hit 😆 To each their own but those boxes are fugly! I like the black paint job you did!! Can you be more specific about that paint and where you got it? That RR quickshifter is crazy right? I test rode the K1600B before I test rode the RR and I thought it wasn't possible to have a smoother quickshifter than that 1600, and they pretty much made me test ride the RR even though I had zero desire to do so. And that RR quickshifter proved to be smoother......somehow! I thought the pressure on my palms was what bothered me the most....but that was probably just a posture thing that can be overcome. If you remember from my video of that ride, I said...."is this bike going to turn me into a sportbike guy?" They'll be no more RR test rides for me!!! You should have ridden the Ducati Scrambler that was in the parking lot when you got back with the RR. THEN you'd be hittin the offroad stuff for sure!! 🤔😄
@twobikesandadrone I'll never have a top box, it absolutely ruins the look of the bike. Its called Luna 1. So far it's be holding up very well. Easy to apply, and almost sprays like a paint gun. www.dipyourcar.com/products/luna-one-gloss-black-aerosol-copy The RR blew me away. Who knows what the future will bring, but I would like to own someday. The only issue for me was my neck. Right now the GS fills my needs. But you know me, I'm always looking for my next bike. I rode the Ducati scrambler in the past cool bike, i wound up by a Triumph Scrambler 1200, and did hit some trailer with it, dam I miss that bike too.
Good question. There are like 37 different reasons in the owners manual for a yellow triangle. I guess basically it is to let you know something is wrong. It also says its for service over due by a date. I know when it reaches service for miles you get a wrench icon. I did get a service over due on the dash just before the triangle came on.
@@chrishunt5699Nice, did you get the red one? I know in the near future I will have a rr, not as comfy as the GS... but man its fun to ride. If you ever want to ride... I'm always in that area.
@@chrishunt5699 Dam, I was up that way at capital power sports with a friend, he was looking at a Africa Twin. This is my email address, I'll send you my number through that email. ken1656@yahoo.com
If you put the bike in dynamic then the bike exhaust will get louder as wel.
Absolutely love that look with those panels blacked out! Really want to do that on my 1250 now 😂
Super Simple, this paint work great... Luna 1 www.dipyourcar.com/collections/luna-one/products/luna-one-gloss-black-aerosol-copy
This old dude could definitely live with one of those, and yes it'd have to be red.
@BruceLloyd-n7b Friends and family think I'm nuts... but you know how it us :)
This bike looks best on you Kman. Glad you came back.
Good times.

@@raymadani270 I did feel the vibs around 4000 rpm, but it smoothed out in the higher rpm range. It is an amazing machine.
Damn, that is a hoss of an ADV bike
That’s a great bike. I’m looking at the M1000XR hoping one coming in February at my dealer. These sport bikes are just not for me.
@@FLYANDRIDE15 Yeah I know what you mean... I just got to get it out of my system. :)

Caution light on dash at 2:33. What is that mean?
