- If you understand Japanese, Himeko says "they" as "Kanojo tachi" which means "the girls". The unfathomable force is definitely the Honkai. This is not a coincidence since the anniversary reward mails also directly referring to Honkai Impact 3rd's Himeko farewell to Kiana. HIMEKO, PLEASE DONT LEAVE US THIS TIME.
My wish is to see Kiana and HSR's Himeko meet each other. I know they are different people, and we both know Kiana has already moved on. But seeing them together can give us the closure that they don't get to say goodbye or talk normally before Himeko died :(

The reason why is we dont actually know the fate of HI3 Himeko. Yes everyone treats her as dead but we do have some odd things the devs gave us then havent done anything with. The gem of Haste was implanted in Himeko's armor yet the Puppets found it free floating in the Sea of Quanta. How did it get free? The puppets specifically bring this up and point out they dont know how it happened. Himeko was in no condition to remove that gem not even her armor was connected to it and her Sword made from the same materials was found. So it couldnt be she just completely dissolved around the gem as the sword was found with the only damage being the ones from the battle.
Then we know there was efforts to recover Himeko by both the Valkyries and World Serpent. They couldnt find anything not even her remains and we know Kevin takes his promises seriously so he LOOKED. Which them not finding anything between them is really odd.
Right now Himeko is treated as dead in HI3 no question but Hoyoverse has left some things that make me wonder especially since we are getting two beings who can look through time. So I am wondering if Hoyo might use them to let us see what ACTUALLY happened and answer those questions.

@@revanninja I just played this part of HI 3. Himeko was terminally ill, honkai energy was literally eating her alive, during her fight with HoV flames burst from her body not the battlesuit and honkai corruption is seen all over. Humans cannot survive in Sea of Quanta where she ended up, even Valkyries have a hard time there, and considering she was mortally wounded, her body propably disintegrated, some of her memories may have been stored in Gem of Haste, because she have good affinity with it (Her Previous Era incarnation became Hersherr of Flame and from her body Gem of haste of made). She is 100% dead in main universe of HI 3, but we don't know about any of her versions from bubble universes.
@@raven12333 the issue is non of that is correct besides the honkai corruption. The flames came from her suit. The suit was broken but it comes from the remains.
She didnt dissolve people unless acted on in the sea dont dissolve they cant survive without equipment or adaptability which is how seele survived for YEARS in the sea and brought up again in part 2 by coraline. So the game flat out says its rare but people can survive in the sea on their own and its separate from honkai resistance.
Also the gem does have her memories but even it doesnt know what happened to her and SAYS as much. It specifically says it doesnt know nor how it got separated from her. It has her memories up to the final moments and then it doesnt know.
Which is ODD.
So a lot of what you said is not true. Yes the game and people treat her as dead but its not the first time hoyoverse has brought back himeko in the gun girlz game she is brought back via a temporal event.
Also its not the first time someone is thought to be dead when they arent. Or information we are told turns out to be incorrect in fact part 2 just ended its latest patch on that very fact something we were told was general useless was actually the cornerstone of the plan.
So sorry but you arent convincing at all.

This, after her reaction towards HI3 Himeko's sword shards in Herta Space Station, further cements that this Himeko could be a reincarnation of HI3 Himeko, rather than being simply a variant like Acheron and Bronya (+Silver Wolf)
I couldn't agree more. It's just weird to just randomly dream about the people that you "don't even know", especially when they are literally in a different galaxy

@@Yuki-cl8in not "technically" correct, Honkai has a weird semi-multiversal structure but it DOES take place in a single universe (bubble universes are a separate thing) with multiple timelines all playing out at once but separated far enough and by enough Imaginary barriers that under normal circumstances they SHOULD never interact. it's sort of implied that it just has infinite versions of The Milky Way instead of "conventional" other galaxy's
However it's entirely possible with enough effort and the right conditions to fly/walk/Space Train to other versions of reality across physical space, using The Quantum Sea to fold Spacetime for example but there are very few individuals who can do that reliably (especially if we remove Captainverse from the table) or enough Imaginary empowerment (so basically how the Astral Express works and Finality Kiana is made to sound like she could just hop over to the next timeline if she wanted to because The Cocoon could and she IS The Cocoon now).
So basically, the body fell into the same universe as the shards and then Himeko was reincarnated. But without her memories (That'd make a Herrscher of Finality Kiana return better)

Yes, that could be. But as far as we know of, Himeko never had amnesia or meet the previous trailblazers. She fixed the astral train and gather the other member of the new trailblazers which consist of men and women, so it couldnt be it. But from the dialogue, it seems more fit if she dreamt about Kiana and the Saint Freiya girls. She used the word kanojo tachi (the girls) and kazoku (family). So I think it is most likely the honkai impact girls.
She said it Jp dub "kanojo tachi" which translates to "those girls"
@@plang-plang5035that doesn't say anything. Might be translation different. If you wanna confirmation or something, always use cn dub and translate manually from there.

Not finally since it was there since day 1. If you examine himeko sword shard curio in herta station with himeko in party, she will say same stuff.
I really don't want to think all of this is foreshadowing that Himeko might share the same fate as her 3rd counterpart since she is resonating with a lot of 3rd's events despite being a variant.
@@proto245HSR characters resonating with their Hi3rd selves is not exclusive to just himeko, even acheron and welt(ik he is from hi3rd) and bronya and seele all had a special connection to their alternate selves in some form

@@Denonlordzen I was going to say that this was an impossibility, buuut then I remembered that it had already happened with Kallen. Despite her endless loop of death, she was eventually able to get to a timeline where she'd be able to live normally
I swear one of this patches Himeko Hi3rd's Sword Fragments would Break out of herta's space station if Himeko HSR ever needs it, too many references infact i wouldn't call this one reference

That moment and Acheron reenacting Ch 17 made me fangirl very hard. But nothing will be better than the moment when I've noticed that, during Acheron's conversation with the Trailblazer in the Nihility realm , it started to play a HI3 ost without any changes, they just took it from one game and put it in the other one
Seeing this dialog really strengthen the theory about Himeko being isekai'd to HSR, or her soul at least
It's more likely to be her soul (even if such thing exists in Honkai Universe), because Himeko remembers certain moments of her life such as her childhood, her hometown, her major in university, etc. Those memories aren't HI 3rd's Himeko's
@@FridgeChan Souls are very much a thing in Honkai and have been proven multiple times, Teri and Kasumi being the main examples, Kiana(K-423) kinda too but that's more due to Herrcher core shenanigans. I can't remember the exact quote but Otto actually describes his conclusion to Teri after her creation. He essentially concludes that while creating a new body is laughably easy and it's entirely possible to restore a persons soul, once the existing mind is lost it can never be restored as the imaginary existence of that exact being is just "gone", so while Teri does truly seem to house the same spirit/Soul as Kallen (she even feels drawn to Sakura in the manga version of sakura samsara) she'll never BE Kallen as she was.
@@FridgeChanit's certainly plausible since hi3 himeko died in imaginary space, created by a herscher no less. It's certainly reasonable rules of reality would get distorted and somehow a fragment of her soul and her sword wound up in hsr universe
@@FridgeChan It's likely the memories of her being a Valkyrie were sealed, because... if she was solely a scientist, why was she getting memories of the Vermillion Knight?
I am a bit concerned she mentions having these dreams constantly. They don't happen often but they still happen frequently enough and still do currently to a point she remembers always having these dreams.

maybe she lost her body in the sea of quanta but not her mind... and she transcended in the last minute (maybe thanks to su i dont know im just coping right now) and maybe all the "visions" kiana had while seeing himeko vanishing like in the fight against HoD was just her soul trying to manifestate... plus himeko said she saw everything in "her dream"... maybe her soul was just roaming somewhere until welt got transported to HSR and that connection made her find this himeko this "new vessel" (again im just coping)

Yesss, and tbh I don't mind. I saw some people complaining when they announce acheron in 2.0. I mean....... it's called "Honkai" Star Rail righttt??? They should've seen it coming. Welt is even from the honkai impact itself. Sooner or later they will merge
I mean when they want to do stuff that's centred around Welt and Himeko fully then it'll inevitably end up involving The Sky People and their whole deal is "send scouts, wait until height of civilisation, drain civilisation of Honkai/imaginary energy, destroy any trace that they ever existed, rinse and repeat".
They're similar to the antimatter legion but more tactically and don't answer to a higher power. As far as we know they're also A LOT older than any currently existing group in Star Rail as The Sky People have been active for almost 250 million years (created/Altered by Sa shortly after the destruction of Venus by The Finality in which she was the only survivor).
Welt is only in Star Rail because after the events of Alien Space he eventually got stuck after the ship he and Void Archives were using got damaged and left adrift.

The reason Himeko and....Himeko... aren't the same person is because they are Variants -- or to use Hoyoverse's terminology, "Eidolons". That's why HSR Himeko can dream of HI3 Himeko's companions but cannot recall any of their faces and yet she resonates with their tribulations... she'd be one of the E#s within HI3 Himeko, if such UI and system/concept existed in that game.

Theory with so many plot holes its Swiss cheese:
HSR hemiko is hi3rd Himeko, and was made into an Eminator, and pom pom is a powerful bundle of cuteness
after the fight with HoV she fell into a remote location waking up in a remote location with no memory of the people she knew only tiny bits when she was young this is semi proven with hsr himeko's character story unlocked at level which says
She can't remember when she became lost. She just walked and walked, on and on into the dark night, chasing the sun and the moon, over and over again - until she falls.
She remembers what she looked like as a college freshman, remembers her chosen major - interstellar travel dynamics - and now she's lying face down in the mud.
She looks up to the stars, and just then sees meteors streaming down: one, two, three... And then more, smaller ones, flickering and flashing ever so finely before a magnificent blaze tore open the night.
Her limbs drag her forward, leading her on to where the land meets the ocean. "At the shoreline", the waters jostle against her like how the tide treats that stranded Express, alone and lost.
alot of attention to the shoreline part. y'know who else landed near a shoreline after the HoV vs Himeko fight? Kiana kaslana.
after himeko was able to repair the express the express then takes her to hsr's universe (this is if the express is powerful enough to cross universes it was created by an Aeon which was said to be people that transcended to the img tree)
now for pom-pom they're a weakened eminator or is akivili himself
this is just a speculation with close to no basis, the only basis is the LC For Tommorow's joureny's art with pom-pom in it at the end of the LC's description is

the conductor being pom -pom so how long has pom pom lived and how many other traiblazers have they watched die, this also semi supports himeko's case, when did she meet pom-pom? is it when she found the express or after she rebuilt the express and assigning pom-pom as the driver. nothing was mentioned in himeko's character story, unless pom-pom intentionally re-wrote himeko's memories and this was when pom-pom(akivili) made himeko their eminator
i will repeat this is a theory with many holes i do not play hsr but i like making ludicrous theories all of these sources are from the hsr's wiki so some of these may or may not change in due time hope you guys had a fun read, if you even read it. 😃
Yessss, one of the biggest reason of HSR Himeko is not HI 3rd's is her backstory. Himeko from HI wasn't majored in interstellar travel dynamics, etc. Also, Himeko from HI was terminally ill. Her body isnt suited to become valkyrie and harness the honkai energy, so it reduced her lifespan instead. When himeko fought herrscher of the void, she fell into the sea of quanta, dying (or even dead), etc. It was almost impossible for Himeko to live, but we will see the real answer (if hoyoverse give us one) in the future
i dont know if this helps your theory but: in ggz, in one of the storylines, himeko doesn't die as far as i remember, but simply falls into the sea of quanta, later emerging as the herrscher of fire

they already did that and i figure they will do that more often. our welt is the same welt as honkai impact 3rd's. he was transported to HSR universe and met Himeko. he joined the express only until he knows how to get back to his universe

I remember reading somewhere a theory that Himeko is like a Dreamseeker in Part 2, meaning, she is born from Sea of Data using HI3's Himeko imprint. Can't find it anywhere tho.

If the theory is true, that'll give Surtr's words "She was reborn in the flames" a double meaning - because it'd be tied to Kiana becoming the Herrscher of Flamescion, but it'd also be linked to Himeko's resurrection

basically Himeko dreamt about the girls from honkai impact, but they are in different galaxy and never even met. honkai has their version of himeko and she died, but she said they will keep watching over them to kiana. HSR Himeko dreamt about them, fulfilling "her promise"
