I really dont get the little fountain effects in the middle of the spas. They look tacky and prone to breaking.

Yes, they can break if you pull on them - Some clients like a water feature in their spa. The nice thing is that if you don't like them you can take them out easily.

We were quoted almost $4,000 just to change the edging of our hot tub to this. Does that fall within your statement of it not costing all that much more to have done?
