Kamek disguised as peach was probably the most memorable moment from any Mario game. I’ve not played the wii super Mario bros for 8 years and I still remembered that very moment.
I love how they had the game play a couple tricks on you in the Wii version! First off, the game tricks you into thinking you've already won as easily as the DS version, but then Peach turns around and it is actually Magikoopa (aka Kamek). Also, before the final phase commences, where Bowser has grown into a beeg-beeg boy, the game also tricks you into thinking the room you're in is small, but then the camera pans out and it's actually an entire level behind Mario! So you gotta help him get through it as Bowser destroys everything behind you!
I feel like this was the best boss fight and most memorable in my opinion
And they brought it back in the Mario Bros. movie!

NSMBWii was my first Mario game and I was sooo happy when I finally beat Bowser. Such a great game, I remember playing it with my friends so much. Ahh the memories :)

Honestly, I don't think this one deserves the hate it's getting. Sure it's lazy and kinda easy, but I still had fun with it. Keep in mind it's for 3DS, so it isn't meant to be long and hard. Also I love how they brought back NSMBW's epic battle music.

NSMB Bowser gets too much praise. It’s literally just Bowser Jr. and Bowser both of them being a boss you’ve fought a million times at that point. Can’t call NSMB 2 Bowser lazy because the original was just Bowser from the first game in the series and putting in another opponent and an extra move.

I can definitely confirm that the Wii Bowser battle is the best New Super Mario Bros battle in the series! New Super Mario Bros Wii has some of the best boss battles in the Super Mario series.
Also best designed levels as well.
@@woo_shynen8805 if we're excluding 3d games, then yes. New Super Mario Bros Wii has some fascinating gimmicks and levels to play around with. I honestly like the levels in Super Mario Odyssey, Super Mario Galaxy, and Super Mario 64 so much more. Galaxy especially has some of the best gimmicks seen in Super Mario platformers.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii was my favorite. I remember when my friends and I would play. And it was just me left, but I was little as fuck. I jumped from platform to platform. Dodged fireball to lava. I was at Peach and I jumped. Everything was in slow motion. A fireball was directly behind me about to fry me into ashes. "Mario!" echoed from the game. I hit the switch. Everything went quiet, all my friends staring at me as I was just staring at the tv in disbelief. All them screamed, high-fiving, and patting me on the back. It was very terrifying, and epic at the same time. (I was Mario, Sean was Luigi, Daniel was Blue Toad, and Elijah was Yellow Toad)

The New Super Mario Bros Wii final boss is by far one of my favorites in the whole Mario franchise, the music combined with the sheer scale of Bowser. I'll admit 10 year old me was terrified of that fight.

@Jack Smith I don't think so. He does contact damage in about all of them, but I think the closest thing he ever does to a body slam is a jump-and-crush attack in mario 3. As for a successful wall jump, I wouldn't know, but I think he still could because he's so muscular. Good luck with that fight animation, I'll be looking forward to seeing it!
