Your mouse appears so small on Video because you need to use Window OR Display Capture; instead of GAME CAPTURE and change the capture method to Windows 10 (1903 and up). It will fix your cursor size (make it appear the same size you actually use) and also fix the source from glitching/going black whenever you open the runelite sidebar. Right click the scene after you do this, go to filters, add an effect filter (crop/pad) and then adjust the values of Top/Bottom/Left/Right to squeeze out the runelite titlebar and sidebar. Also please go into your GPU/117HD plugin and change the UI Scaling method to xBR for a better viewer experience. It is a huge difference alone, if you don't want to mess with OBS. Test it out ingame I promise you'll notice a large difference on the bluriness of the UI ingame.
Also; I can tell you play with Animation smoothing on in game. Turn off "Player animation smoothing" and keep everything else on. You'll notice with it ON; sometimes your attacks wont even show the full animation/any animation at all i.e barrage. The faster you do switches and attack; along with higher ping makes this more prevelant. This is a massive hinderance to your ability to read what players are doing during an NH fight or even Veng pot tricking in zerk fights. The animations are not true or consistent with animation smoothing on. This will make it extrememly hard to establish muscle memory and good habits. This obviously makes more of a difference at the higher levels of NH/Brid/DM'ing but it's better to get used to it now then have to fix these things when you've already established your playstyle. You'll notice streamers like Odablock/Bulwark7 and other high level pkers do NOT use animation smoothing and its for this exact reason. Sorry for the long read!
A lot of good tips in there, I will try some out! I do play on a pretty big screen so the cursor size might be accurate. I know its bad for distance or switches and spells but i dont mind it
@@350dpi I will have to set up another runelite profile because 95% of my time in game is spent on my iron. Would be nice to hit one thing to set runelite up for pking. Everything you said is extremely helpful, I'm testing stuff out now.
@@MDGScape Awesome! I play on a 55" 120hz 4k TV. Window capture with the correct capture method is the way to go! Also, you can just duplicate (or export+rename+readd the profile) to runelite then just change the settings I mentioned. That way you maintain your original profile!
