He's so good that you can feel how he calculates a 3 movements attack, just to hit in the first one but then his brain continues with the other two until he's like, oh, that's true, I've WON 😂😂😂❤
No notes other than I, and probably others, really appreciate adding the "hit" markers to the exchanges; definitely helps us novices follow what happened!
I'd love to see these videos have companion ones that break down dome of the more intense exchanges and use them as learning tools to give newbies (like myself) visual examples of how fencing exchanges work. Super cool, like vevthe new channel!
I'm unsure if youve made one before, but if not could you make a tutorial-like video on the necessities and fundamentals of using a weapon like a zweihander/montante? I've not been able to practice in any fashion with a real or training one, the closest I have is VR, but I want to try and use it to learn what I can. I also just dont have the room for a training sword lol
I imagine their plan is to cover a little bit of everything, they said they plan on getting really technical so I'm sure they'll touch on a lot of stuff they wouldn't on their other channel.
fencing is for points, that disincentivizes actually fencing, Hema while with similar rulesets to fencing Hema focuses on actually using the weapon as intended, fencing sabers have no curve as a good example, they're essentially a rapier with a cupped hilt which removes some of the jankiness when fighting with or against a curved sword,
If you wanna be pedantic sword fighting is fencing, in fact any martial art could be referred to as fencing. But I know you meant Olympic style fencing and the previous comment explains the difference pretty well.
Dang those hand snipes are so satisfying

Do you still do long sword? I'd like to see one of those fencing videos again.
the video is awesome but it would be much better if the music were a little bit subtle or downright none
Question: How much do these sabers weigh?
Question: What's the major difference between fencing and sword fighting diregarding the weapon's weight?
