    Hello, Thank you so much for the Shopturn lecture!
    Is there Milling chuck or ER Collet detecting function? Like Collision check?

    • @MrCNC
      @MrCNC  ปีที่แล้ว

      Not in simulation however in collision check option you could put those in there. Email me I can show you an example in Sinutrain dan.strubel@siemens.com

    Hello , when executed the simulation of the program this massage is appear
    Retraction plane RP is within the machining range what is the problem

    • @MrCNC
      @MrCNC  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      you typically need to increase the retraction plane. these are the values in the program header page typically displayed as XRA and ZRA. It is sometimes easier if you make them ads values not inc values and simply make sure for OD the X value is larger than any value in your program.

    Hi,
    I'm looking for a little help with some programming on Siemens 828D. I'm in the process of writing a program for a bar puller and have hit a snag. I've gotten as far as getting the puller into position and gripping the part and releasing the chuck. The chuck unclamps the part, but that's as far as it goes. It throws up alarms like "Waiting for chuck" and "Chuck open/closed without component."
    Any idea how to get the machine to accept the open chuck and proceed with the program?
    Thanks in advance.

    • @MrCNC
      @MrCNC  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This you have to ask the machine tool builder if there is a way to feed or move with the chuck open

    Is there a way to align the jaws in the simulation with the actual jaw position in the machine?

      Not at this time

      you go to offset and type adjustment data and chuck parameters

    I'm new to shop turn. And learning. I really appreciate you taking your time out for this programming. You like to profile your OD first then the ID. Is this personal preference or can you start with rough Turn then do ID then come back to to do your finish on you OD. ?

      You probably do not have the option for Shopturn. You can go to the license options and temporarily turn it on for verification

    Hello,
    Question. We are interested in using your controls and modifying a cnc lathe to run a grinding attachment and hot knife for grooving and profiling external rubber. Can you define custom tools for external cnc machining or quick screens for our options only?

    • @Eggsr2bcrushed
      @Eggsr2bcrushed 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Different methods for defining the stock that you are trying to machine, be it through a contour you have defined outside of the program, a cylinder shape, or an offset from your geometry contour.

    I have the 828d control on a lathe with manual tool changes. The tool offset page only allows for 8 tools in a program. How can I change this to more tools?

    • @MrCNC
      @MrCNC  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      their is a tool management configuration program that you need to run. this does differ between OEM's so I would recommend reaching out to your machine builder for the correct program.

    If I'm running a SHOPTURN simulation on my PC, would it be possible to transfer the program to my machine?

    • @MrCNC

      Absolutely, you can test out the program on your PC and transfer it via network or USB

    Would the sinumerik control allow me to import all G code programs created in a cad/cam software?

    • @MrCNC
      @MrCNC  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes as long as they either comply with our G and M code structure (G290 mode) or if you have ISO mode setup on your control then they can also comply with ISO standards (G291 mode).

    What are the additional features of the 828D over the 808D

    • @MrCNC
      @MrCNC  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      the big difference from the 808 to the 828 is the optional ShopMill or ShopTurn conversational programming software.

    Sir, what is the difference between measure tool and measure workpiece function.... I have operate Siemens 810d Dmg made turn mill center machine....Please reply...

    • @MrCNC
      @MrCNC  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nitin Narkhede the measure tool function will write to the tool offset while the workpiece measure writes to the active work offset. The tool offset will only effect that one tool while the work offset will effect every tool.

    We own a digital control machine and control unit from Siemens sinumerik 840 DSL and includes some of the programs we use in manufacturing when running one of these programs does not cause any problem, but when you refer to it again after a period of 10 days we notice a change in some of the data for the program that lead to the disruption of the program How will this happen knowing that the machine is new 2018 production please help me solve this problem

      you will need to have setup offset for the tools to keep from getting an overtravel in auto mode. I would suggest seeing what the total travel is for each axis and then use 1/2 the value in the tool offset. as long as the WCS is set to zero you should not need to adjust the G54.
