Rosilind Franklin's contributions were subjective. Just bcuz a decent amout of the "physical work" was carried out by her... This by no means entitled her to claim credit for the actual idea or discovery. Thats not to relegate her work but she merely actualized the brilliant thoughts of others. An engineer of sorts. So lets keep credit where credit is due

There's a trend of combing through history to find ANY women that did any work on anything important, then making a big show of giving them credit. I'm not saying they don't deserve credit, but there were countless uncredited men who were also doing "grunt work" on all the same things the women are now getting credit for. That context is always left out because it makes the story less exciting and it brings up further questions about the fairness of it all
