This video led me to buy the ex30 instead of the Kingsong s22. Thank you guys for awesome content! Just unboxed and got every put together and popped on the charger. Can't wait to ride tomorrow! 😎
The beeps for all intents and purposes are to: 1. Indicate the motor has been disengaged 2. an audible indication that the wheel is being manipulated in one form or another. 3. theft prevention. In the event someone disturbs the wheel from the position you've set it down in whether or not they are aware of the spin kill function, upon movement of the wheel or re-engagement of motor, a beep would indicate the wheel has been tampered with.
That garage is like a PEV haven. Love Andrew's Onewheel shirt. The way these things keep improving, I'm getting closer to actually wanting one of them.

Boblbee backpack guys! Solid back protection with great heavy load support so u don't feed anything when u ride EUC, and u can take out the back protection pad on Lazy rolling jacket to be more comfortable. EX30 is just lovely, mine gonna arrive soon.
Begode have certainly gone all Cybertruck with their recent designs. I'd assume that the redundant beeps are to let you know that the wheel has been set down without being powered off. I guess this is a not-so-subtle reminder to power it off if it's not going to be used.
Re; backpack, are you averse to a solar panel on your backpack,inverter/charge cont/USB plug in under panel in various places depending on model...my biz makes & Sells them, but I'm offering the freebie no strings attached..there are 2xusb, working on fast charge, but that's tough bc would need Tuscon Az like sun and reliant on owner to angle the cell perpendicular to rays..but for most part, it's actually pretty impressive how much juice you get compared to 90% of powerbanks...that's how type-C will get past embryonic stage on my backpacks--it's hardly a %point of the biz really just for marketing, ice breakers, freebeez etc, thought I am working on some different ideas for that niche, like on an ebike back rack storing power, for 911 or accessories, and I have better newer prototypes that I could send you like a wind turbine that generates enuf power for a fone that's secured to a bike handlebars(or euc carry handles etc)..no strings, there is logo on there, but better if blurred out
@2:41 the utility of the beep is to make every Begode owner annoyed... Its been on every wheel they have made since before they were called Begode. Your garage is starting to look a little crowded with all those PEVs 😅
I’m always skeptical of the screens. I actually prefer the way the V8S does it where it’s just a battery gauge you can look quickly at and see the charge. You won’t look more than a couple times during the ride just to make sure you back off accelerating hard as you get low on battery. Beyond that, it seems like it’s an attractive distractor that gets your eyes off the road. It’s not like a ebike or a car where it’s in your field of view as you drive along, you shouldn’t be looking down very often checking speed. I have bumpers over my EXN screen, its so hard to read the battery level it may as well not be there and it’d be a bad idea to be compulsively checking speed.
@@quantumtechcrypto7080 yeah, I agree. I was referring to not using the on device screen while moving. A phone is better if you care about monitoring speed while you ride. I’m fine with ballpark how it feels and having a sense of where I am on the charge.
I'm selling my old eBikes and trying to find something that actually has a long range what is the range of this and how well does it do in rain? I need it to do at least 216 km and to work even if I'm going through rain with it.
for backpacks and safety... i'd say the Boblbee is well worth checking out.. it's pricey.... and expensive (did i say it was pricey) but it does offer good back/spine protection.. a good number of youtube euc channel riders use it .. including Kevin over at Alien Rides :)
What did you think of the pedals? I heard some people dont have any issues and some think there arent enough spikes for grip. Are they worth upgrading from stock?
i like everything about this but the pads. not their shape or size, but the sticky tape. they need to move towards pre-velcroed eucs and pre-velcroed pads. sticky tape is dumb.
How have the Predator helmets served you guys this winter.. much fogging up? I have not been using my TSG helmet much at all due to that problem Neither Tactically Sound or Safe Gear in that Respect IMO :(
Excellent content! Looking forward to the full EX30 review. Backpack recommendations: I suggest you compare these three RiderBag (35L capacity with CE level 2 back protection) Boblebee (30L capacity) Nelson Rigg Hurricane (40L capacity) In my nearly 20K miles of all condition EUC riding I prefer the RiderBag 9 times out of 10 but I'm still looking to upgrade. P.S. Curious if you'd ever do a helmet comparison video
ive been broke and ive been rich and a little infamous but my dream would be these guys life they have lots of happy good kids and a long successful marriage they're a truely successful couple of guys,
Rode this wheel, my takeaways. Very bulky and not aerodynamic. Super fast. Crap build quality, plastic and cheap foam is not the way. Rim is much better though. C+

Been loving my boblbee 25L backpack. Its a little limited on space, but lots of utility and the best in protection

LMAO "loud beep at the park, to let everyone know, WE'RE HERE" hilarious and true
Stoked for mine to arrive!

Good to know!
The Clark kit for this wheel looks amazing and addresses many of the issues I think
I’ve been using Chrome Barrage backpack for a year now, can def reccomend.
I’ll check it out!
I think this review did it for me. I’m ordering one!

It should go to sleep after a min or two like most pev

Darkbot app with phone in a clear covered touchable wrist strap all needed functions
right there.

I think it's nice to occasionally be able to check speed when you're riding instead of having to have another device to check it.

Can you turn off the beep when you put it on its side?
Idk if this is the right backpack for you but i love using the LTT backpack for basically everything, i have multiple
I’ll check it out
Boblbee gtx hardshell backpack is popular for average rider
How is there a v13 just chilling there and not being ridden?
Boblbee gtx 25L
Great bag/back protector
I’ll check it out!
I found myself just looking at the Roadrunner Pro in the background lol 😂
Video review coming soon! 🤙
@@freshlycharged o yea can’t wait 😎👍
8:50 the EX30 actually has 100mm of travel in its suspension.
I had seen that spec listed on some sites. We were basing it on the specs we saw on the Alien Ride's website since that is who sent us the wheel.
Put a cargo strap around the padding until the adhesive sets.... doesn't hurt to ad a little super glue possibly !
Good tip!
Thanks very much 👍
For backpack so I think you should get the BANGE sling bag
Should i get this or Sherman S or Inmotion V13?
Those unicycles are amazing! I don’t know about 50mph on one tire! 😂😂😂
Cool video n this new euc
What tire pressure did you have set
Dunno about fun, but CabinZero has some fantastic backpacks. I have the "Military" model that has a ton of space and is comfortable to wear.
Awesome. Thanks guys! Wondering if you’ll be getting your hands on a Sherman S anytime soon?
No plans right now
I'm curious how it will do emergency breaking on a steep downhill with that clunky kickstand..... or even breaking at all on a steep downhill.
No wipeouts like the Master! 😬
Not yet...............
Can the charger be upgraded? I know the batteries can be charged faster than 10hrs with that many batteries.
you can charge up to 10 amps on the EX30
First thing to go on for me is the velcro. Pads put on with double sided is a pain.

Hi Team, are you planning to review Nami Blast Max by any chance? really want to hear your review/opinion about this model
I use a solar backpack that charges my gear while I ride
Which one?
What did you think of the pedals? I heard some people dont have any issues and some think there arent enough spikes for grip. Are they worth upgrading from stock?
For stock pedals, they are pretty good IMO.
Great job Andrew.
My exn on euc world I can turn down the beep volume while my 80 percent beeps are so loud

It fogs up when it’s cold. I usually leave the lid partially cracked open.
@@freshlycharged I live in Iceland so :)
