A friend of mine fell pregnant last year. They received news that it was a boy. Had a blue baby shower and everything. 2 months ago the baby was delivered... A fully grown bouncing beautiful baby girl. Well at the end of the day, God's will is perfect. He is sovereign and knows what He is doing. Congratulations on your pregnancy🙂

This video is hilarious and sooo true to the journey we all go on as believers, trusting God for something that doesn't work out the way we thought. I think God is calling Preston (and of course Jackie) to build strong, God fearing women, untouchable in their faith, because they are so sure of who their Heavenly Father is as a product of the love and guidance given to them by their earthly Father. God will strengthen you guys to do this, no matter which way it goes. He knows what you can handle.

Although it is quite different than your situation because that was our first child and we do want more. Disappointing nonetheless. But lo and BEHOLD, when they laid baby on my chest after I delivered my midwives all shouted surprise mama! Sonogram technician was WRONG! And after 3 girls and thinking I was having girl number 4, the Lord gave us a boy all along ☺️ in 2017 with all the technology we had they were still wrong. Rejoicing with you in God’s blessing regardless though!

Jackie it’s called “Denial!” Along with delusional trust me..I KNOW😂🤣😂 poor things! My TRUE story.. when I was pregnant I was COMPLETELY convinced hands down that I was having a girl! *I already had a boy* and I always ONLY wanted ONE girl; therefore, because God allowed me to get pregnant (after 4yrs of marriage no protection and not get pregnant) it HAD to be because He was giving me my girl!! The 👏🏼 ONLY👏🏼REASON👏🏼God would allow me to become pregnant right🤷🏼♀️ I was SO convinced that I didn’t need the dr to tell me the sex of the baby because I already KNEW..duh!?? I told everyone it was a girl! I had a girl baby shower and I had my beautiful girl name. Well when HE was born, I thought for hours that HE was a girl and that everyone was “pranking” me (I had a c-section and back then over 30yrs ago they put you to sleep) so when I woke up and my husband and family kept telling me it was a boy and saying “we understand how you’re confused because didn’t they tell you it was a girl?” they just assumed it’s what the ultrasound confirmed and told me..umm no, I didn’t need no ultrasound to tell me what I KNEW! 😞 My baby was so beautiful with such long slick black hair I kept believing He was a SHE..until my husband said “baby it’s a boy for real..see” and removed his diaper..my face looked EXACTLY like y’all when that pink confetti came out! Like 👀 “Who put THAT there?!” 😂🤣 He’s 34 and we are STILL telling this story!! P.s. He is Jesus in the flesh! The most patient, loving, joy filled, peaceful, giving person I know! And has been this way since birth! Slept all through the night, never cried, Mild tempered, quiet, and selfless! God is good! HE knew! Congrats!! After 3 boys I’m finally having a girl next month. My husband and I both spoke it into existence even when we couldn’t conceive yet and when we did I said it’s our girl...baby girl will be here soon and we’re excited!!🤗🙌🏽
Seriously, I feel this. Sooo much. When I had dreams and hopes and longings for my 3rd to be a boy and we had another girl it was really disorienting for me. Then i felt all this shame for not being as excited. It took me forever to come up with a name or talk to her in my womb because my mind was so set on having a boy. Even when she was born and I was thinking maybe there was a mistake I had a hard time accepting that she was a girl. So I’m just saying that to not offer a trite bandaid answer but to say, I get it. It’s ok. God is in the midst of all the weird emotions we got around this stuff.

Keep your head up you two ! We had twins (they are 2) I was considered high risk so I had so many ultrasounds. They told us they were sure we weee having 2 girls. My husband jokingly continued praying that God would give us a boy. Why the first baby that came out was a boy ??! He was going to be a JR. But my husband. Changed his middle name to Samuel which means “God responds”. I feel like God literally changed his gender to honor our prayers. Either way, ya’ll blesses !
Jackie the exact thing happened with my family!! I was the last child to be born and the doctor told my mom I was a boy. The only difference is, my early childhood pictures are me in boy clothes lol.

I have a friend, whose gender reveal I did and the Doc's office wrote "Girl" as the gender. We had the reveal, revealed girl and within a month of the reveal, the next ultrasound said BOY and every ultrasound after that so GOD can have the last say ;) Baby was born this past Mother's Day so it's still possible JACKIE & PRESTON!!! Thank you for your transparency and for allowing us to be a part of that special moment. I appreciate the fact that you were willing to talk through some of your feelings on camera and be real about it. Gender disappointment is real and more importantly, it’s OK. I think a lot of times people think that Christians should walk around with a Joel Osteen permasmile on their face and just be all “Praise the Lord” about everything all the time. You can have faith in God and trust his will and still struggle with the outcome. And when it’s all said and done, that little baby girl will still be showered with an incredible amount of unconditional love. Congrats!

Well when HE was born, I thought for hours that HE was a girl and that everyone was “pranking” me (I had a c-section and back then over 30yrs ago they put you to sleep) so when I woke up and my husband and family kept telling me it was a boy and saying “we understand how you’re confused because didn’t they tell you it was a girl?” they just assumed it’s what the ultrasound confirmed and told me..umm no, I didn’t need no ultrasound to tell me what I KNEW! 😞 My baby was so beautiful with such long slick black hair I kept believing He was a SHE..until my husband said “baby it’s a boy for real..see” and removed his diaper..my face looked EXACTLY like y’all when that pink confetti came out! Like 👀 “Who put THAT there?!” 😂🤣
He’s 34 and we are STILL telling this story!! P.s. He is Jesus in the flesh! The most patient, loving, joy filled, peaceful, giving person I know! And has been this way since birth! Slept all through the night, never cried, Mild tempered, quiet, and selfless! God is good! HE knew! Me and that “fass tail” girl probably be fighting now with no contact for years asking the saints to pray for our relationship to be restored!😂😂🤣Congratulations 🎉🎈🎊

Congrats!! After 3 boys I’m finally having a girl next month. My husband and I both spoke it into existence even when we couldn’t conceive yet and when we did I said it’s our girl...baby girl will be here soon and we’re excited!!🤗🙌🏽
Seriously, I feel this. Sooo much. When I had dreams and hopes and longings for my 3rd to be a boy and we had another girl it was really disorienting for me. Then i felt all this shame for not being as excited. It took me forever to come up with a name or talk to her in my womb because my mind was so set on having a boy. Even when she was born and I was thinking maybe there was a mistake I had a hard time accepting that she was a girl. So I’m just saying that to not offer a trite bandaid answer but to say, I get it. It’s ok. God is in the midst of all the weird emotions we got around this stuff.

Keep your head up you two ! We had twins (they are 2) I was considered high risk so I had so many ultrasounds. They told us they were sure we weee having 2 girls. My husband jokingly continued praying that God would give us a boy. Why the first baby that came out was a boy ??! He was going to be a JR. But my husband. Changed his middle name to Samuel which means “God responds”. I feel like God literally changed his gender to honor our prayers. Either way, ya’ll blesses !
Jackie the exact thing happened with my family!! I was the last child to be born and the doctor told my mom I was a boy. The only difference is, my early childhood pictures are me in boy clothes lol.

I have a friend, whose gender reveal I did and the Doc's office wrote "Girl" as the gender. We had the reveal, revealed girl and within a month of the reveal, the next ultrasound said BOY and every ultrasound after that so GOD can have the last say ;) Baby was born this past Mother's Day so it's still possible JACKIE & PRESTON!!! Congrats on the Healthy, beautiful baby the LORD has blessed you with

Thank you for your transparency and for allowing us to be a part of that special moment. I appreciate the fact that you were willing to talk through some of your feelings on camera and be real about it. Gender disappointment is real and more importantly, it’s OK. I think a lot of times people think that Christians should walk around with a Joel Osteen permasmile on their face and just be all “Praise the Lord” about everything all the time. You can have faith in God and trust his will and still struggle with the outcome. And when it’s all said and done, that little baby girl will still be showered with an incredible amount of unconditional love. Congrats!
