- Both Preston and Jackie have testimonies involving sexual brokenness. In their spoken word poem "One Flesh", that was performed at The Poets in Autumn Tour, they address their individual stories and how in marriage and in Christ, they've overcome.

I can’t stop crying. This touched me immediately. This broke me down immediately. It’s so beautiful and truthful and God is so amazing to meet up at a uniquely defined coordinate in our lives and mesh and be one flesh. I wish I knew who I was in Christ when I met my 1st husband. I think we were this but didn’t know God the way these two do, and we had no support to stay in the fight and hold onto God. We were young Christians and an easy target. We write each other now, as he is yet incarcerated and our children all grew up without a father. It has been a rough road, but God. I grew in Christ and I fell in love with Him even more. I learned that He would always be there holding my hand, speaking victory through Him, strength, and hope and love into my lineage and myself, including their father. Hold onto Christ.
I'm amazed at the vulnerability. The world needs this reality and revelation.

I totally get it I to am going through a divorce and with the help of a Godly counselor and walking a road called back to me I thank God for newness and another chance at being one with him with no hindrances and a fresh perspective 😊 God speed on your way back to the one who loved you first.

I am sobbing. Why… because I can relate. But, mainly because you feel the power and strength in fully understanding your identity in Christ. That who you were is no longer who you are. You are a new creation. But was is the most beautiful… overcoming all together as one flesh. 😭

Praise God for this 💕 It's beautiful to hear victories in areas that i also resonate with. Surrendering into a life that honors God wasn't easy. Very often the consequences of my poor choices haunt me but then in God's gentleness He reminds me "He threw my past into a sea deep as mercy". Only by meeting Jesus daily can I ever find wholeness and joy with or without the gift of marriage. From a fellow saint, thanks for this testimony. Praying for the empowerment of the Holy Spirit in your ministry!

Nah. I wrote Preston’s story and he wrote mine. We implicitly wanted to communicate that in marriage, transparency in regards to each other’s pasts should totally be a thing. So for us to tell each others stories is to say that we actually KNOW each other’s story. - Jackie
