There was a lot of talk about Judy Garland but I think her story - and her looks - has strong parallels with Britney Spears, the huge success, the controlling father who arguably saved her life but also controlled it too tightly and still does, the rebellion, the succession of doomed quickfire marriages, pressure from the industry to fit an 'American' ideal shape/size/looks, all leading to serious drug and mental health problems. Not to mention Bobby Darin, who strangely enough looks a lot like Justin Timberlake.

Howard Johnson’s was in close proximity to the Westbury Music Fair.
The hotel was the closest one to the Westbury Music Fair. She had to go back the next night to perform again
