At some point you really should watch all of their performances on season 3 of _The Sing-Off,_ in order, to see how much they improved over just 10 weeks. Kevin arrived in time for them to have only one day of rehearsals together before their audition, so they were still feeling their way into developing their group dynamics in the first performances, and before the end the judges were commenting on how Avi and Kevin sounded like they'd been touring together for years. There's a SuperFruit video of Scott and Mitch watching some of those performances and commenting on how bad their dancing was. They say they learned from this that they can't dance. The truth is that they were still teaching themselves choreography in the earliest performances; by their 11th performance their choreography was master level.
This was the first track on the EP PTX Vol. 2. This EP also had Daft Punk (first Grammy) and the emotional original song Run to You. They were just so good early. You almost forget this is acapella until it's over.

This was great. I knew you would absolutely love it. One of the main reasons we all watch reaction videos of Pentatonix, is the "oh you just wait' moments. Because, we all know what is about to happen and it's wonderful. You say OMG Scott is rapping. You just wait OMG they are all rapping. You say OMG Mitch just slapped me with that high note . You just wait, and he goes higher. This one had a ton of those moments and we love them and you for it. This was one of those songs where people ask "can they pull it off?" The answer is quite apparent. Yes they can and quite well in fact. I totally agree with the other comments. Problem is a definite must see. Mitch does a great rap in that one. Another one is any of the live performances of Can't Sleep Love. Such as Popspring. Anyway, thank you so much this was a blast to watch.

Best thing about these is that while it's not new for us, the energy you bring to it makes it feel fun like we're getting to watch it for the first time all over again. It's awesome how the reactor community helps continuously breathe new life into our favorite music, and your perspectives from EDM production are pretty unique to boot!

And Kirstie looking so stinking adorable. Kevin has a rap while beatboxing in another early one "As Long As You Love Me/Wide Awake". (Stay for all the adorable chatter at the end) And, In the Popspring 2016 concert, their original "Can't Seep Love" Mitch raps (he doesn't in the studio version and, honestly the rap just massively improves an already cool song). Butter X Dynamite is great, but just a warning, I've recently seen a few creators having issues getting it posted and it doesn't seem to be the video like it usually is. So idk, you might want to try it anyway (it really is an awesome mashup), but just be prepared it might have copyright issues.
If I remember right, I thought I read that each time they change outfits, it's to fit the personality of the person who is in front. Don't quote me on that, but it makes sense for their styles and personalities at the time of this video.

Kevin was 22 when he joined Pentatonix and 23 by the end of their season on _The Sing-Off._ He has always been the oldest member of the group. That said, the approximately 4 year age difference between Kevin and Mitch isn't enough to make him actually *look* any older than the trio, and he's only a year and a half older than Avi. And Avi always looks incredibly young in their early videos. They all look so young in this video. There's a reason we call them Babytonix this early in their careers. They were all astonishingly talented from the beginning, and after their recording contract was dropped they showed a maturity beyond their years in doing what it took to make their dream come true, but that maturity is visible in their actions, not their faces.

Great reaction! If you like Pentatonix a lot I think that you should give Voiceplay a listen, they were also on The Sing Off but in season 4. They have very interesting arrangements and their bass singer, Geoff Castellucci, is an insane bass who can go super low

Scott was Hip hop/urban, Avi was stylish cool kid, and Kirstie was Gothic diva with Mitch being preppy and Kevin as the straight laced choir boy. 😊✌🏾

Great reaction! If you like Pentatonix a lot I think that you should give Voiceplay a listen, they were also on The Sing Off but in season 4. They have very interesting arrangements and their bass singer, Geoff Castellucci, is an insane bass who can go super low

For some really great Mitch rapping watch him do the Iggy Azalea rap on their cover of Ariane Grande's 'Problem'. Also, Superfruit 'Feeling myself' (Nicki Minaj featuring Beyonce) where Mitch and Scott both rap and are awesome.
