Thumbnails are a great way to boost our skills and a chance to play with different materials, colors and layouts to find our drawing and painting style. They help to let go of perfectionism and to play around more easily, without fear of ruining the page, because it's just a small thumbnail....
A collection of thumbnails is ideal for illustrating a place's spirit and recording details you love, or illustrating a travel abroad, a holiday, flowers in a garden, or a special event... And, sometimes, a page of thumbnails can lay the groundwork for a larger project: they're the perfect exercise before making a large painting, or for discovering your personal sketching style
And they always looks good! People even want to buy them!
This class takes away the fear of making a bad drawing, takes away the fear of not having talent. It makes learning to sketch and paint more fun.
In the class you will learn:
How to make a grid of mini-paintings of 5cm x 5cm, or 5cm x 10cm, when you have no more than 15 minutes a day (Or feel free to make thumbnails of other sizes and shapes)
How you can boost your drawing and composition skills by making a mini-sketch a day during 10 days
Different ways to experiment and play with different materials
How having fun and exploring is the best way to boost your skills and develop your own personal style
This is a class for all skill levels, either total beginner, or experienced artists wanting to get a new point of view and some new techniques.
