We are going to be talking about Ren and The Big Push for years and years, its mindblowing how good they are.
Yes, definitely mind-blowing.

The weird vocal thing Ren was doing that was cracking you up it throws alot of reactors off but that's an actual vocal technique that Jazz trumpeter and singer Louie Armstrong invented pretty much by mistake back in 1926 when him and his band was recording the song "Heebie Jeebies" His sheet music fell off the music stand and he couldn't remember the lyrics. And because of how much of a process it is to record records back in the 1920's he sang an improvised solo with nonsensical syllables instead of the proper words. He did think that the record producers would throw out that take and make him do it over but he said they came running out of the control room and loved it. That song became a big hit for Louie so he started using it from then on and other Jazz singers started using it and here we are today in 2023 with Ren doing a Jazz scatt during a reggae song lol.
Scatting is basically improvising with your voice using nonsense syllables and wordless vocables, which are word like sounds that aren't words at all. They use their voice as an instrument to improvise rhythms and melodies instead of speaking or singing.

The song at the end of the little clip of "Road to Zion" that they were singing is called " a little bit of luck" ... It's UK artist DJ Luck and..ummm.. sorry I know there's another person with him... Anyway it's a whole other song.😂

Yeah he was dope on this as well. He just didn't get featured as much as Ren and Romaine unfortunately.
@@yvesmilsap As is common, the bass and drums are so important to the overall sound, but are often overlooked. If they are too obvious, they can overpower the song. Some of the best rhythm sections are almost invisible. Glenn Chambers on drums is rock solid in the pocket, and Gorran Kendall on bass is a talented multi-instrumentalist and singer. He also plays guitar, and killer harmonica.
