few things to mention: completely forgot about the "cursor_trail 1" option that actually keeps me with kitty. if you're familiar with neovide's cursor animation, that's that another thing that I forgot to set is "macos_option_as_als yes" that allows you to use M-[key] keybinds in tmux (the reason why I couldn't showcase those bindings)
It never occurred to me that terminal applications would let you change the line height or that that would be something that I'd want but that is very pleasing to the eye and easy to read. I don't know whether 170% is going too far, but I'm going to try it out. Thanks. My current issue is that kitty kittens like the font and theme selectors just break everything for me
glad it was helpful! it also has cell_width now that i wasn’t aware of yeah, it’s hard sometimes to get it right in kitty. i’ve been tweaking it a lot to get to a decent look. honestly, the only thing that keeps me with it is cursor trail - this one is super convenient to keep track pf where the cursor is. i know there’s neovide, but i don’t want to keep another app for neovim. i’d switch to ghostty or alacritty if they had it implemented
@nick-skriabin I was happy with alacritty and I'm not a fan of kitty implementing tabs and windows - I already have those features in my window manager and tmux and neovim, I don't need a FOURTH layer of window management :) However, I want to see images in my documents on nvim and alacritty doesn't do that
can u also show, how do you clicking button in screen without mouse, can u say app name pls ? cause i looking for this app for a while, and wanna find that open source and don't recording my clipboard, thank u) Ur video is great, thank, don't stop posting pls
thank you! there’s a whole video about it I made previously. everything’s there including windows and linux alternatives th-cam.com/video/V3e-8sH-w2E/w-d-xo.html in a nutshell, there are two apps like that that I know: Homerow that I covered before, and Shortcat. both allow system-wide clicking. there’s also Mouseless, but i didn’t like the approach for clipboard I use Maccy, it’s an open source clipboard manager
