It’s been quite a while bro, work and baseball got me running ragged for a while there, had some time this past week or two, and made it happen!! Thanks brotha!!
Lol yea bro it was crazy to say the least, I’ve never been that close to a lightning strike🤦♂️ I’m sure me running got at least a few laughs though. Thanks for watching !!
Absolutely gorgeous cutties and worth every step and lightning strike to get there and catch some. Another great episode in the high alpine bud. I enjoy seeing the takes more on spinning gear then I do on that fly rod. 😊
Dude i mean it was literally on the other side of the lower lake I was headed down towards. I don’t think I’ve ever been that scared for my life lol. I honestly thought I was gonna struck, I saw two strikes within 5-10 mins and they were close😳 it’s all good brotha I might stay local cause the weather doesn’t look promising so far for next weekend…
Holy cow dude! You got lucky up there, it’s never a good thing to toy with Mother Nature she can be brash bro. Glad you made it down to safety safely. You definitely made up for it in the end though.
I joke, I’m totally never doing that again!!! Lol it wasn’t my intention either, but when you see the fish all over it’s just so hard to leave😂 glad you enjoyed the video bro
A little over 10 miles I believe, didn’t seem too bad till the next day😂😂 my calves were soar for a few days! Lol I know the fly guys don’t like the name “cutty” 😂😂
It’s been a minute. Glad to see you back out.

Honestly these are alpine lakes are the only ones I wanna fish anymore, it’s less crowded if at all, it’s quiet and the fish are hungry!
You weren't kidding, when you see the light flash in the camera like that... scary stuff. Super bummed I can't go fishing next weekend...
