Noob question. What is illustrator for? Wouldn't I just want to save the photo or is there more editing done in illustrator. Sorry for the dumb question but I am just now about to buy photoshop elements and give this a try. Thanks for posting this how to!

I posted another tutorial before this and I got tons of critiques that it is not a pure vector and can't be exported to Illustrator as a vector. That's why I added this step.
Regarding Photoshop Elements I really didn't use it before and I don't know if you can complete this tutorial with it or not!

Your file for Oil Paint Alternative V2 ruined the photo. The actions inside arent for Oil :/ Had to restart all over. Had to do Oil paint filter by me. :/
