    If this man didn’t win world championship last year nobody would even comment on this video much less his time. So let’s all pretend he’s not a champion n just a regular runner who is trying to get better

    I will admit that things are not looking too good for Watson this season. At this point of the season, he should at least be running 45 but he's's still stuck at 46. I know people are gonna come and say it's early season and we should give him a break, but if you compare this season with last season, he had a more steady progression. He managed to run 45 in March last year while in may this year, the middle of the track and field season, he's still struggling to break 46, which is conserning. I will just wait for Racers grand pix in June to see how well he will perform.

    Watson looks great. His stride looks effortless and even if his time isnt as fast as people want it to be - he always steps on the gas when it matters. Really wish he had been sent to the World Relays meet to help Jamaica qualify the mens 4x400m team to Paris

    • @unconventionalcrosy52
      @unconventionalcrosy52 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Watson alone could not save that team

    • @travelwithsere
      @travelwithsere หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@unconventionalcrosy52 I never said Watson alone would have saved the team but having him there in the 4x400m would have helped. I respect those who did run in the relay but pulling Roshawn and Zandrian to have them in the mixed relay left the mens 4x400m relay team weak. Not an expert either but I rather they have had the strong runners in the 4x400 mens relays so that 4 men could have the opportunity to be in Paris. Now they have to figure out how to qualify and have a strong relay time since there's 2 spots left. Sean Bailey, Roshawn Clark , Antonio Watson, Zandrian Barnes, Malik James would be a great team. Even some of the guys who were in Carfita (Jevaughn Pinnock, Nickecoy Bramwell) could be asked to help qualify.. Just my opinon

      Demish Gaye gave the rest of the team too much work like he always do. McDonald ran ok, not good but ok given the position he got the baton in James-King tried his best but he had too much to do and the anchor leg runner looked like he gave up on that first day then they changed the order on the second day and it was a complete disaster.

      He has avery looong way to go,our World Champion should be in high 44.s or very low 45.s shape, the tall 'Bama boy' would jogged 46.7 with minimum effort, what has Antonio been doing post World championship if he ran 46.7 in the heats at the games he would be blown out.Straight up NO GOOD.

    Watson ran over (approx) .5sec slower than his season best. There is nothing to celebrate here. Something is wrong, and it's more than likely to be an injury that's slowed his performance. But he will have to run much faster in, say, 7 weeks' time..🤔
