Hey Kyle! I saw this knife 10 years ago! The seller was testing cut resistant gloves! And he used a knife with "normal" steel and this one. The standard knife couldn't cut the glove, but that one went through like nothing! That was the first time I heard something about S30v! It was the King for me, and now there are much better steels! Unbelievable for an old shooler! Greetings from Austria my FRIEND!!!

That's one epic beast. I enjoy seeing these pieces of knife history. Great video brother 👍

I have one and it's solid. I also have the T2, which is very easy in the pocket. Probably my favourite folding knives, along with the Spyderco Nilakka. However, I now mostly tend to carry cold steel folders because of the tri-ad lock, which gives great confidence and makes all other locks seem less safe.

I'm supposed to be keeping them under $300, but boy would I love to have a Harsey. Thanks Kyle!🍻

This one is going to be having a few changes made to it. It did have a solid lockup for about the first 8 years, but the ti is so much softer that it kinda wore a groove into the lockbar. So I'm going to have an insert put into the lockbar and have some micarta scales put on it. I might flip the pocket clip, but that's what I started out on so it doesn't bother me that much. It's been a solid user up until it started having that lock slip though. I'll send it out to you again after I have everything changed up on it if you like

Very cool knife, can't beat a cold steel/Demko knife when taking about hard use, as a hard use cutter a liner lock is fine but if your going to be hitting something I'll take a triad lock any day. Thanks for the view of this blast from the past and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable.

    If I remember correctly, T1 with 3.25" blade was $129.99 and T2 with 4" blade was $199.99.

Have an unused one. No lock rock solid lock up. Lone Wolf made very high quality knives. Your Spartan is the size of the T2. Also there is a detente on my knife. And it also came with a pouch to belt carry better for this knife. I have the pouch. They have gotten expensive.

So as a machinist can you see what needs to be done to fix the lock rock. I always like that as a challenge to improve knives in need of repair. I’m betting you will probably have fun fixing it to

Not my knife but I am sure it can be corrected. I am not like you. I don't see a challenge, I see an issue that would keep me from a purchase. I need to be more like you and try to figure things out and test theories. That would make life more interesting. 🙏🙏👊👊

I actually like that knife more than most benchmades. I never use pocket clips. I honestly think it's quicker to not use them. Never been a fan of benchmade. Liberal gun melters. When i want US made i go Houge, Microtech, Protech, Medford pretty much anyone else. Microtech is making some knives in china now with Rike. Hopefully they will stop making them there if we don't buy them. Rike makes great knives but Michrotech should be all American.
