Walter's relationship is so beautifully complex. I think Walter loves Jesse in the same narcissistic way he loves Skylar, his kids, and even Hank. His love is real, but when it conflicts with his self-interest, he finds ways to rationalize his actions and the pain they inflict. Love you're reactions to this amazing show!

I usually just quietly follow, but you two are GREAT reactors. This show is so nuanced, sometimes it’s hard to remember how horrific some of these crimes are (endangering & killing children-what could be worse?) I love how this show makes people think! Sophie is a natural talent for story telling-her predictions are 🔥 and she should be a writer!!!
Was Sophie really more upset at Walt possibly losing his meth job than an 11 year old being killed?
I think you don’t see how Jesse is the heart and soul of this show and the one (aside from Walt Jr.) that shows the most humanity of all the characters.

Jesse didn’t put Walter in this mess. In the Fly episode, he told Jesse that he won’t be able to save him, and Jessie said he wasn’t asking him to. Jessie was willing to get himself killed over the kid situation, he had nothing left to lose. Walt said at the beginning of this episode that he “owed” Jessie when he saved him. Walter makes poor decisions tooooo! Gus said this when they first spoke.
You guys screaming at the cliffhanger is hilarious, because we had to wait like 18 months to see the next episode.

The episode endings on this show are by far the most I've ever wanted to immediately start a new episode right after. Of course that's the point of ending it on a cliffhanger like that. Vince Gillian is a master of this.
Sophie is so smart with predicting stuff in the show. I remember myself watching Breaking Bad for the first time, i got surprised by everything, couldn't predict shit 🙃
