Yes, please please please do more track sets! Seeing all the cars together like that is so mesmerizing. All I can think of is all of them in a big street race in a glowing cyberpunk city, animated in a super stylized way like Spider-Verse or something.
I'm figuring the printer tampos are to keep costs down, because they are the inferior style tampos? So is it safe to say that if Mattel would use the normal style tampos all around the car that these cars would be even more than 3 dollars?
Yes, sadly the printer tampos are cheaper to produce from what I understand. They also use them on the bigger monster trucks (as does Spin Master) so I doubt they are going away anytime soon sadly. But I will say it’s a bit odd to see both styles on the same car next to each other…which means they are obviously capable of doing all pad printed tampos, but go out of the way to do an extra step of putting printer tampos on it as well. What really sucks is they use those printer tampos on the $7 car culture premiums too, as well as Matchbox Collector Models and RLC cars, which is absolutely ridiculous as those are near $40 cars.
Awesome video!! I need to pick this set up! I think the 350z casting is the same as the Tokyo drift casting which had the huge oversized wheels. Looks like they went to the normal wheel size for this one
Haha it is the same one - which it looks okay in the F&F livery bc of the big wheels like you mentioned, but it doesn’t look very good without them Dubs lol.
They seem to be pretty popular - I haven’t seen any of this particular wave in stores personally yet either as someone found these for me. Hopefully the distribution gets it together soon and they hit more stores ha.
In this comment i will review the rx7 The Neon Speeders line debuted in 2023 and is continuing with multiple releases in 2024 when i found this hotwheels in my local minimarket, i was shocked because the details is so good there is a massive exhaust on the back a nice paint job, and nice wheels, and it has a nice design on the card, and it can really be a good money making toy, because when i buy it for cheap i can sell it for way more. and what makes it good is that because it glows in the dark, and really good material for customizing.
6:46 when I checked a small grocery store in Indonesia on a narrow street, a little bit away from Jakarta, I found this Wagon and Celica, I bought the Wagon (Did you know the Japanese word means Hot Wheels?). And on another day I returned, I saw a Cosmo and an NSX (Japanese series), with some F&F series.
I didn’t check the Japanese on these but that was my guess! Pretty cool! The F&F cars are nice too since they started to put metal chassis in with that line as well!
I like and own the first set. Not crazy about the newer set. A couple of nice designs, but obviously aimed at just JDM fans. I do like these cars in art car designs a lot more than plain looking mainlines. Hopefully the next one has more variety?
@@64Wheels Yes. You hit the nail hard. I want some Neon trucks. as well. I like the old style pickups, but neon might look better on the newer pickups. They can use the 70's Custom Van too. If they gonna charge the $$$. make it worth our while.
We have them in Kazakhstan and I've actually bought two of them in differents unrelated to each other shops. Now figuring out how to make them actually glow in the dark
imagine someone bought a lot of these and people who live nearby wonder hmmm, what's that ominous glow in the distance

That would be super cool! I may have to get the neon track set and give it a try.
These are neat, I picked up the Civic and Eclipse. I wanted the Focus, but every single one I found had screwed up headlights.
Some of the models have better quality control than others but it’s a great series.
@@64Wheels I like them, I may just grab a Focus next time I see one and redo the headlights myself.

I love these 🙌

This set just arrived in local stores UK. Managed to get the Datsun and the Honda but everything else gone. Keep hunting😊
That’s good to hear they are showing up in the UK too! Good luck finding the others as well - they seem to be a hot set that lots of people are after!
Wow so cool 😎
Great review my guy 👍
Haven't seen those😮

More variety would be nice - I’m sure it was some to please the JDM crowd but I’d love to get some trucks or vans in the line too.
@64Wheels blue light works to

That reads as "Hotto Hoiru" in katakana if I'm not mistaken (been a looooooong time since I've studied japanese)
🔥
Too bad this set was not available globally which was this set was the only Walmart Exclusive set.
Mattel needs to do a better job at making more of their product available across more countries!

I found a Datsun Wagon on my local mini grocery store in Indonesia
