Like many British fans I’m so happy that Rach is back racing Not the ideal track to come back cause as Charlie found out this track takes no prisoners but she had a lot of success on this track The most memorable And iconic victory is when her and G both won on the same day

Telling me BRO that was one of the greatest days in GB sporting history Who would’ve thought that Rachel would go on to do what she did after that year breaking records left right and centre winning world championships after world Championships she won’t be at her best but She will give it all she has got and the crowd will help top 10 will be a victory for her but top five would be amazing

I met charlie harrison dad at mountain creek and i told him make sure he keeps biking the way he hit the steep section was better then pros.. he was lik 14 at the time and know he like a top rider sad to always see him injured

Well...this race sure is going to be interesting. I love Vali, but she is not putting her heart into it. When you are up in the race, then drop down, then go up, then drop down...you are not putting in 100%. That leaves the door wide open for everyone else and resulted in a 4th place finish. Disappointing.
She’s only young and has loads of talent , I’m sure she will get more consistent .
@@yarkmates3409 she is my absolute favourite rider, but I get the feeling that for some reason she just let it go on purpose. Her all time idol is Rachel Atherton. Just wondering if with Rachel coming back, does that have something to do with it? Rachel is sitting this one out it appears, but you know she is dead serious about what she is doing.

Wondering what's with the whistle blowing?
When a rider passes? They blow the whistle. Let's people down track know riders are coming. So good for media squids and fans. But also good for rider who may have stopped behind blind corners or crests you don't want to pull out on someone bombing down. Or something like that.
@@Thematty635 it’s to signal to the next Marshall that a rider is coming, not the media!
If the whistle blows and a rider doesn’t appear, they know there is a problem and can get help.

Damn, sorry to hear about Finn! Smart decision though if he's not up to it he shouldn't push it. Concussions can be a tough thing to recover from, it's hard to judge the recovery pace.

Did she injured herself with a helmet that's been used on a crash before?
If you get a concussion with a helmet, imagine what your head would look like without one.
@@Pienimusta when you wear a helmet properly, you get a concussion! That is if the helmet was designed right. If your helmet is just for looks, and not function, you might as well not wear a helmet.
Most properly designed helmets are only designed for one hit. They're not meant to take repeat hits.
You should never wear a helmet that's taken a hot before. It's a one time hit and replace.
These injuries are simply too serious to ignore. Its getting worse every year.
people used to get concussions but they just raced/played anyway.
It is more likely that we are just reporting them more, these days. Much like all bad things in the news.
