Natalie! You are such an amazing magical human. Thank you for featuring me in the “makers” segment. Your collection is growing!!!! Also, everytime you talk about your Prismatic, i Swoon. The Harlow is on my list as I think it’s a nice intro into brioche. I AM TERRIFIED lol. Thanks for the inspiration 😉
Prismatic Sweater - I love your color choice - I wouldn’t have really been tempted to make the pattern, just by looking at the model’s photos, but your bold color choice really makes the design pop! It gives it a totally different vibe, ya know?
As a long time employee of a veterinary practice I will tell you to try Tarter Shield as a safe alternative for rawhide chews. Any treat has the potential to choke but you are a good pet parent to monitor your pet while eating it!
Thanks for another delightful ppdcast, Natalie! It's always great to see what you're working on (your Prismatic looks fantastic!), and i love hearing about the Perfectionism Project and how you are working through it. Keep well! Enjoy the yarn crawl!
I love your Prismatic sweater! I know you want to use pink again. I would use the pink to bind off the bottom and sleeves. I do the cast on & 1 or 2 rows on my socks in contrast and love the pop of color.
Hi Natalie! Walking on pavement is *really* hard on the body. It makes my ankles ache. You're not decrepit, I promise 😀 We have been buying Benebones for our dogs. The "Zaggler" is best, we think. Expensive, but worth it. I enjoy your podcast so much. Your Prismatic sweater is gorgeous 😍 I have learned so much from watching you, thanks!
I really like listening to your organizational notes. It inspires me to do the same. I am going to get a notebook too! Thanks so much for sharing all your tips! I love hearing how you keep everything organized! 🧶❣️
We don’t give our dog rawhide either just because I’m afraid he will choke. But he also has bad allergies so we can only give him more plant based treats 😭 we love the Chewnolas I just wish they lasted him longer
Another great podcast! I am a planner at heart and I love hearing how organizing time, and recognizing how long things take, is working for you. That took me a LONG time to figure out. Side note: we had a dog choke on raw hide, yikes! A little circle shaped piece got wedged in their throat. We do elk antlers now - but they're noisy so we limit how long they can have them, lol.
I give my dog an elk antler to chew on. You can get at a good pet store. They are kind of expensive, but they last forever. She loves it. We call it her ripping bone!
Hello from Mounds Illinois. I have been winding skeins of yarn all day. So far I have caked fourteen and have twenty more to do which I plan to get done today. It is all 100 grams of sock yarn 437 yards each. I plan on knitting a color work sweater, and plenty of socks.
The feelings and anxiety you describe when you have 'too much' (in actuality probably adequate) time fits me to a T. I've been toying with the idea since you started speaking about the program, but am now going to seriously consider it.
I'm going to have to bump the Tesselation Tee up in my to do list... As for rawhide, my vet said that it's fine for dogs that don't break off big pieces, which is mostly small dogs. Since Toaster is breaking off bigger pieces, I think you made the right choice!
are you able to get a ceiling fan in your apartment?? it changed my world when i lived in NYC- the humidity just eminates from all that cement and buildings. it helped during the winter months too. having one over your bed can really take that edge off.
Loved the podcast! It’s great to hear you express the progress you see yourself making! It’s inspiring. If you are looking for a next book series to read the Vampire Knitting Club has a very similar vibe to the Maggie Sefton knitting mysteries series. And if you want to branch out into something completely different and since you like Harry Potter, you could try the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher. It’s like Harry Potter grown up

Growing up the dogs we had either threw up the rawhide or ended up getting diarrhea. We give dogs pigs' ears now as a special treat.

I just finished a sweater in Malabrigo Eggplant. I love that yarn so much, it's the perfect moody purple.

Loved the episode. Have a great week and congrats on making it to three months of power planning.
Yay, I love when new episodes come out! Eggplant will be so pretty. I’m excited to hear about the wool walk.

I really want to try the power planning you have been talking about! It’s so hard to keep myself on task when working from home!!
But I totally think there should be really good cookies at yarn stores.

Loved the podcast! As for the rawhide, dogs can’t digest it if they swallow it so it could possibly cause a blockage. Oinkies is a good alternative.

Love the color wggplant! I do enjoy your posts so much! Wish i lived closer to you yo go on the 20 yarn stores! I woul need to be disciplined.

My ADHD mind is very experienced in hopping from one thing to the other. Then completely erasing the first thing.
