  • The Blinc heated lash curler is meant to curl lashes and maintain a lifted look all day. The heated eyelash curler works like a hot tool on hair, and Blinc says it's able to give even the tiniest of lashes an elongated and lifted appearance.
    Insider producer Kyle Kerchaert tested the Blinc heated lash curler to see if it can curl lashes better than the cult-favorite Shu Uemura eyelash curler. She rated the Blinc lash curler on how easy it is to use, how well it curls lashes, and how long the curl lasts.

    Use this after u apply mascara and allow it to fully dry. Works like a charm. Doesn't do anything on clean lashes in my experience. Have thrown out my traditional lash curler and no longer break my lashes. They have never looked better. Also, have never injured my eye.

      Problem is, many mascaras melt and come off onto the curler when heat is applied on them. So the trick really is to find a mascara that you like, and that also doesn't melt off on the heated curler when heat is applied. Unfortunately for me, I've yet to find the mascara for me that works with the heated curler

    The problem with using a traditional crimping eyelash curler is that you are inadvertently breaking and pulling out your lashes. The damages are subtle during each use so you don’t really notice. I happen to notice after a lash lift session that my upper lash was shorter than usual and practically the same length as my bottom lash. My eyelash lift technician told me to stop using my eyelash curler to avoid damage and at my next lash lift session my lashes grew out and noticeably longer. With that said I couldn’t afford lash lifts anymore but was committed to avoiding damaging my eyelashes going forward so I stopped using a traditional eyelash curler. The heated curler after mascara application has been a saving grace for me.

    • @Rozlicious27
      @Rozlicious27 3 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      I think your lashes were more prone to breakage with the curler since you got the lash lift, which is still frying it with the chemicals and it can make the hair more sensitive.

    • @smallone9825

    I have been considering these for a while because most curlers don't have nickle free metal or nickle free stainless steel. So my eyes start getting a rash with them even with just 30 seconds of touching them. Even the ones that are nickle free and cult favorites seem to crush my lashes too much. I had one month of heavy lash loss because they became linked and started snapping off, probably because I used it in conjunction with rapid lash conditioner (which seems to not be as emollient as I thought it was).
    I really wish that beauty and skincare companies would avoid anything that might leech nickle, since around 20% of women have an allergic reaction to it. They usually notice they have an allergy when they wear certain jewelry, especially when the skin is sweaty.

    • @sweetbeep
      @sweetbeep 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I am allergic to nickel too and am interested in using an eyelash curler. But does the metal have to touch the skin? Isn't there like rubber thing that touches the lashes and that's it?
