The last 3 games Deshaun has played in, he’s played well. 27-3 win over the Titans, 27-0 win over the Cardinals, 33-31 win over the division rival Ravens including a flawless 2nd half with a broken shoulder and ankle sprain. He was only getting better. The first game against the Bengals was in a monsoon and even Burrow played awful. The second game was against the Steelers and Chubb broke his leg on like the first drive. I’m giving Deshaun a pass for this year. He hasn’t played bad and the Browns win when he plays.

Watson was starting to knock off the rust and had gotten better and better each week. he was trending upward and if that continued was on track to really give this team a super bowl run. Also Watson had he had a good defense in Houston would never have had those numbers cuz they wouldn't have been throwing every down in the 2nd half to try and get back in the game. If they had leads they would be running most of the whole 4th quarter like great teams do.

Speaking just on the on-field part of Deshaun Watson, I gotta say no. He's been getting wins, and great defense or not, Watson still has to put that ball in the end zone, or get them in range for those field goals. Watson is improving over time, so I think you just got to give him more time.

Teams constantly give up on QBs because THEY make the mistake of giving them a huge contract with the expectation that a single player will somehow turn an entire franchise’s fortunes around. The last 3 games Deshaun has played in, he’s played well. 27-3 win over the Titans, 27-0 win over the Cardinals, 33-31 win over the division rival Ravens including a flawless 2nd half with a broken shoulder and ankle sprain. He was only getting better. The first game against the Bengals was in a monsoon and even Burrow played awful. The second game was against the Steelers and Chubb broke his leg on like the first drive. I’m giving Deshaun a pass for this year. He hasn’t played bad and the Browns win when he plays.

Based on how fast Aaron is recovering it’s reasonable to say that he’ll be good to start week 1 next year and he’s clearly motivated to play seeing that he gave back some money to the Jets to sign players in free agency and has changed the culture of the locker room. A cap roll over just takes the un spent money this year and adds it to next year's cap so if next year's cap is 250 mill add the 30 mill from tbsi year and now browns cap is 280mill next year.

His passing ypg is at 185 if you count that as a whole game. 222 if you don't count the Colts game as an entire game. Not great, but big difference. 3,145 yards on the season with a 185 passing ypg average, and 3,774 yards on the season with a 222 passing ypg average
Watson was starting to knock off the rust and had gotten better and better each week. he was trending upward and if that continued was on track to really give this team a super bowl run. Also Watson had he had a good defense in Houston would never have had those numbers cuz they wouldn't have been throwing every down in the 2nd half to try and get back in the game.
