I saw him in concert back in 1978 here in Houston Texas Coliseum. I was hanging out behind the stage seats and I was looking down from the railing toward the entrance to the stage. He was hanging out with his then girlfriend drinking a Heineken and throwing his tambourine up in the air. You could tell he was wasted and I was wondering, how is the guy going to go out and perform on stage when he can barely stay standing. About an hour later when it came time for him to come out this guy was like seriously fired up and running all over the stage and I'm thinking to myself, how the hell is he doing this? Thank god for Columbia's finest pick-me-up....lol What a performer and a real professional. He was one bad ass dude and was totally awesome. RIP Sir!
I got turned onto Eddie Money in 1978…fast forward to 2023, I’m still a die hard fan! He was an amazing artist and showman…..saw him over 16 times in concert….he had it all….RIP Eddie
I was a sound engineer in Hawaii for most of the 90's. Eddie played the Sheraton Waikiki main ballroom in 1992. I got to set up his monitors. After the show I took a set list off the floor. In 2013 I took my Daughter to her first concert which was the Eddie Money in Fayetteville,Arkansas. She was 8. It was an awesome night. After the show Eddie signed the set list from 1992. Should have seen the look on his face when I told him where the set list came from. Sadly my Daughter and Eddie are in Heaven now. Both taken by the same disease. They were both diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. My Daughter had bone cancer and that is the worse of the worse. RIP
Met Eddie with my Daughter one time, he was down to earth and so cool. I still miss him and i have to watch his concerts on TH-cam which is better than nothing. I have his music as well but where i am from he always opened the concert season every year. He is missed and i have exchanged messages with his wife and she is very nice. Eddie needs to be in the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. He had 24 songs in the the hot 100 and put out so much great songs and i got great memories of his music.
Forgot about Eddie Money but always liked his big hits... his energy and charisma come thru in spades here. incredible, amazing live show.... feeling like I missed seeing one of the best
My father played Eddie Money all of the time growing up and I never took to the music at all. Fast forward to me in my 40's, listening to him again, watching this. I finally realized - Eddie Money was amazing. Unique voice, great songs, hell of a nice guy. Consider me a convert to the Money Man. 🙂
Met the Money man many times since I became a fan in 1978. He was always very happy to meet his fans and was very kind. He's rockin' in Heaven right now.
😊I LOVE THIS GUY HE IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES AND HE WILL ALWAYS BE IN THOUGHTS TOO. ENJOY I SHARE THIS BECAUSE I KNOW GOOD MUSIC WHEN I HEAR IT.❤❤❤❤ PASS IT ON . BIG HUGS ROSE.
This was my girlfriend, Kim Yates, and my favorite song in 1978. I loved that girl sooo much. I fact there's still room in my heart for her. I'm now 63, I'll never forget her. I love you, Kim. Maybe we'll meet again someday.
Reminds me of when I saw him at Calamity Jane’s here in Las Vegas back in the 1980s. He was performing on the long tables in the joint. One of the best times I ever had at a concert. Calamity Jane’s has been gone for years. Sadly, so is Eddie 😢
Song list Two tickets 0:20 Wanna go back 3:50 Breath away 8:00 Rock star 12:20 Gimme water 16:20 Where's the PARTY 21:30 Trinidad 26:50 No control 33:30 Baby hold on 39:20 Take home tonight 43:20 Shaking 47:30 Rock and roll place 51:30
Hate to say it, but this setlist kind of sucks. I would have been disappointed if I went to this show. No Walk on Water, no Think I'm in Love and quite a few more
@johnstrika9170 Yeah true, but set lists should leave you wanting more, and besides to hear the same songs being overplayed, and getting stale, repetitive and oversaturated, like songs on FM radio😆!! Some songs need to put the rest for awhile, to keep each concert fresher and more elusive 🤔!! RIP Eddie🙏😍
RIP Mr. Eddie Money. I saw you in concert in Wichita , Kansas several years ago (West Bank stage and Incohoots). You definetely are the "Money Man". Thanks for the memories man. You are down in HISTORY!!! Kurt David Rohlman
Its called classic rock for a reason, class man, thank you for all the music and memories, still have my 8 tracks and my 67 mustang ! R.I.P. Mr Money 🙏
I saw Eddie twice. Back in the early 80s. He used to come to the Youngstown Agora. He was the man with no control. My other two brothers used to go see him later in his career. Up in Akron. My brother said one time he stepped right on his table. My brother Ed loved Eddie Money and so did I . A whole lot of us did. My brother's name is Edward Joseph Morell. And Eddie money's name is Edward Joseph Mahoney.. Pretty close except he was Irish Catholic and we were Italian Catholic . Rest in peace always love the money man.
Unforgettable and Timeless concert. Full of Nostalgia. One of my favorite Concerts of all-time IMHO. I'm a Die-Hard Eddie Money fan. Thanks for all Eddie! R.I.P.

Ed, I miss you more than I can say. I miss your sick humor and just you. Your essence still lingers and I suppose it always will. Until we meet again, I will love you.❤
I love you my brother. You gave us your best and we have changed because of you. Miss you 😢. It's been hard to accept that you are gone. You inspired me and I will always be grateful.

❤ Eddie Money bring in the joy even after he's passed away I was listening to this this morning and it put me in such a good mood I just love Eddie Money. His good friend Greg Khin used to call him Eduardo dinero😅😊😂 which cracked me up. His early recordings in the early 70s were the bomb check them out especially with this one exceptional guitar player. Eddie can play the Sax and the harmonica..multi talent.. and you can just tell he was a joyful person. I still have a crush on him LOL

Success Family What More Could You Want WOW no control tireless EDDIE MONEY in my rock n roll hall of fame surrounded by Beautiful Younger Women Family Friends + LIVE Musical Artists
Eddie money is a rock legend to his real fans and me my wife always enjoyed his performing and his life was remarkable Miss him God bless him up in paradise
My Wife and I still miss Eddie. Our favorite song from him was his remake of Smokey Robinson and The Miracles' "You've Really Got A Hold On Me" ... RIP Brother.
You hear this lead guitarist? He is a master, hje can play with anyone.. Eddie weas very smart piocking his band members. Jimmy Lyons then this mystery man- I think is in Bradenton FL.
Was this from the same tour I saw on New Year's Eve 1991/1992 at the Celebrity Theatre in Anaheim? It had the fully rotating stage during the concert. And, of course, the site is long gone. Anaheim destroyed so many classic, wonderful buildings starting in the 1970s.
Great to see this after all these yrs. I bought it on VHS about 20 yrs ago & it was always one of my most fav concerts. I also really enjoyed Eddie's acoustic concert from the mid 90's called "Unplug it In" which I believe is only on CD or streaming. Several of his hit songs like Two Tickets, Trinidad & Gimme Some Water are on it and, IMHO, they sound even better in acoustic.
Sorely Missed, R.I.P. Eddie Mahoney.... I worked with his Aunt in RVC way back in 1977 when he was setting the world on fire...Legendary times, The Money Man was THE MAN.....
Got too say, Eddie is the Money Man ! I find myself thinking of the past of friends, family. His music brings it out , last show I saw Eddie, was in Cortez, Colo. at a small casino. Man !!! Wife and I had a blast. RIP EDDIE !
He was older here and STILL a fantastic singer. I wish this guy was still in the world. RIP Eddie...
Another person who should be in the R&R Hall of Fame..
That's a fact, probably more than others....
THANK YOU FOR SAYING THIS! Its a damn shame he isn't.
Absolutely
Amen.....the R&R HOF is a joke unless or until it gets it's act together. 😡
I have my own favorites, don't need the rrhof.
He deserves to be in The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, more than time for it.

He is so dam cute right, but then so is Neil Young and John Lennon..etc
