I absolutely loved this movie!!! I actually went to see it in the theaters on Valentine's day 09!!! It wasn't in 3D but i did eventually by the special edition dvd that had the 3D glasses. It was so awesome in 3D!!! Amazing!!!
I love My Bloody Valentine!! It is one of my favorite classic slasher remake of all time!! It is amazing in 3D especially with the kills and the cast is so good to!
this is my first 3D movie movie that I really enjoyed never really liked the 3D glasses back in the day but after watching this it changed my mind and the 3D glasses has changed for the better sense not the paper type glasses and actual glasses makes it really nice now! thanks for your review 👍loved this and the original both are my top horror!
I have not seen this movie but I see TOM ATKINS aka 'the stache' himself which means I must acquire this immediately and put it in my eyes!! lol @ Levi get a job. He already has a job... being cute and cuddly! Haha 🐶
I just saw this last week on Netflix and I thought it was great. I really wish they would have made a sequel. I heard they originally had one planned but it didn't go through well with lionsgate or something.
Jensen Ackles was in a horror film back in 2005 called "Devour". I unfortunately haven't seen it, but I've been wanting to. The video place up the road used to have it, but now do not carry it for rent anymore, no idea why. I really do like this remake, I should watch it tomorrow along with "Valentine" or do back to back "My Bloody Valentine" of the original & remake haha. Great video yet again, I really do enjoy these! Keep it up, Lee. :)
I haven't seen that movie, I'll add it to my list & give it a watch either tonight or Friday night for sure. I've been looking for something new to watch, so thanks for the recommendation! :)
Funny story about Bruce Campbell and Jensen Ackles. Campbell was actually the first choice to play the Winchester's dad on Supernatural, but he couldn't do it due other obligations. The later went with Jeffery Dean Morgan. *The more you know clip* Really enjoying this series man. Keep up the great work brother. -SMMF
So we see where the action happens with Mrs. Drumdums, lol. Great review, man. I remember seeing this movie in college in the theater with some friends. I think we were drunk, which made it better for sure.
I really like the remake but the original is still the better film and honestly I found the look of the killer in the original looked more menacing! I remember buying the uncut version of the original My Bloody Valentine, literally on the same day I went to see the remake I only have the DVD so getting the Bluray is not happening unless a new release happens the extra uncut scenes are good but it's to bad it was only an extra 3 minutes because it has been confirmed 6 more minutes of footage exists including the double impalement! I really like the 3D in the remake and I wish more 3D films would have better 3D effects! I agree not revealing the killers identity might have been the better direction and it is to bad the plans for the sequel never went through! My only two negatives with the remake is both the mine and Valentines Day are majorly underused unlike in the original and it's a real shame! I remember the night I saw this in theaters it was 9:30 the only showing because of a transit strike I count get to the theater until it finally ended and when I went they started showing the wrong film and they fixed it but it caused a delay and when the movie was over I missed a connecting bus and had to walk 30 minutes to get home and it was dark and the street I was walking down reminded me a lot of the small town in both the original and remake and I was constantly looking a round expecting something to happen and nothing ever did but it is funny how under the right circumstances the impact of a horror film can literally follow you home!
Haha that must've sucked man. Hopefully you didn't spot any miners running around haha. This experience made me want to throw the original in again. I love both movies immensely.
funny enough this is the first movie i saw in 3D and only one i loved. i've seen 10 few by choice others only showings of movies i want to see and my bloody valentine is the only horror movie i've seen in 3D.
So I remember getting My Bloody Valentine 3D in 2017 or 2018 one of those two anyways I remember getting the movie and I believe I got the 3D glasses as well but I don't remember watching it in 3D cuz I don't care much for 3D
Can you review the criminal Shannon Elizabeth movie Dying to live please for Shannon Elizabeth as Nadia and Shannon Elizabeth as Jordan Kramer / Jigsaw from American Pie's version of the Saw movies please?
This was one of my favourite cinema experiences. It was my first time in New York and I was 15 and my mam took me to see My Bloody Valentine 3D. I was thinking that this movie is going to have bad red and blue 3D and when they handed me clear glasses I was like what is this? When the movie began I was blown away. The 3D was so clear, the kills were great and visually the 3D added a lot of depth to the backgrounds. I had so much fun at this movie. I noticed that in my experience American audiences are so different to most Irish audiences as the Americans scream and shout at the kills and really react to the movie which works great for a slasher movie. At the point when somebody says Jason a woman in he audience screamed JASON!!?? in a confused tone XD I really enjoyed this episode as this movie is very nostalgic for me and honestly this movie was my avatar experience (in that the 3D amazed and visuals amazed me) Thanks Drumdum!
Your recording lighting set up is really good. I am struggling with lighting in my video would you have any recommendations for cheap lighting equivalents? Thanks man.
I still haven't seen this or the original. As someone who's trying to see all the old slasher films and their remakes, I should. I must say, after you're done the Child's Play reviews, could you do The Shining? You said you would do that back in October but you never did. I'd love for you to review it. Whenever you get the chance, of course.
Anonymous Person Definitely man. The Shining is one of my favorite movies. Last October was more of a beast than I thought it would be. But I will definitely get to it this year.
also I liked the cast in this and really loved Jensen ackles he was the best part in this movie. his acting was great. Kerr was good too. btw Jensen ackles in a long running show called supernatural and he's amazing in that show too:)
Okay It shocked the hell out of me how many dislikes you got when I clicked on the vid but it got to be a damn troll that got nothing better to do. Awesome vid though Drum! I Always look forward to these and I'm sure I'll watch this film tomorrow
So..a couple things. 1: Happy Valentine's Day to you, as well, Lee. I really hate the day though because it's a day where it makes me feel even more sadder than normal that I'm single. I usually just end up doing my own thing like normal. 2: I really love Jensen Ackles as an actor, and I never would've thought to compare him and Tom Atkins. Haha. You brought up one of my favorite TV series's as well, Supernatural. That show has been with me for a really long time..so it's probably my favorite show because of all the memories I have with it...plus I still remember being in like 6th or 7th grade and just flipping through the channels and seeing the Pilot episode on TV, and instantly becoming hooked after seeing the first kill. If I ever do have kids, I want to name them after Dean and Sam from the show, that's how much the show means to me. So, anyways, I'm just curious as to how you enjoyed Supernatural. And number 3 and finally: I really love this film (maybe it's a lot to do with me just loving Ackles from Supernatural and being a fan of his from that show even before seeing this movie) and I think it's very highly underrated. It's sad to see how usually the whole Horror genre is usually highly underrated. Anyways, take it easy Lee, and have a good one!
Zach Pohlman so sorry to hear that Zach. I know it's not a great day for a lot of people. Being lonely can be hard sometimes. Believe me I know ...I've been there. When I was in the military often times I was deployed or away for a year at a time. And it does suck being alone. Hope you have a great day nonetheless bro.
Hey Lee my man, i have been looking into "Halloween: The Night Evil Died", which apparently looks like a new Halloween film coming out on the 13th of October this year. However it looks as cheap as shit and even though Tony Moran is coming back to play Michael Myers. I don't think its a proper film? Leatherface and Hellraiser: Judgment however look like their serious. Thoughts?
Yeah I heard about that one and I just can't get excited about it outside of the fact that Moran is in it. I'm not a big fan of the lower budget fan films of the series, although I have heard that there are some good ones out there.
Yeah i agree, thanks for letting me know though man. And yeah it looks very cheap and it looks like a fan made film. So no i'm not excited for it. However Hellraiser: Judgment with Heather L. and the leather face film with lili taylor i'm pumped for.
I really liked this movie and I didn't know that this was a remake until after this movie came out. I seen the original to this movie and honestly it wasn't that great. this remake is better
i really did love this movie and i don't who will cheated on Jamie King i think she a pretty fine actress and if i was axel i will never cheated on Jamie King since that the wrong thing to do and i wish that we could of see a sequel to this movie and i would love to see this movie have a sequel but i guess they stop making these types of movies but overall i did like this movie and i'm gonna give My Bloody Valentine 3D 2009 a 9/10 stars i just didn't except the ending to be bad that why i'm taking that one point off just because of the ending
this is the first R rated movie to show graphic full frontal female nudity.... the blonde chick chasing the bald trucker outside for videotaping them having sex lol i love this remake! soooooooo much fun.
Yes the awesomeness that is Jensen Ackles REALLY does need to do more horror movies. I loved him on Supernatural but the show kind of fell apart after season 5. I was actually watching MBV3D last night and you know, it's one of those slashers that I love more and more each time I watch it. It's just such a blast to watch. I tried watching the original again but I still just can't connect with it like I do the remake. I just don't have much fun with the original for some reason. And did you ever get around to watching Demons? That's one of my top five favorite horror films.
Wait you haven't watch Night of the Living Dead by George A Romero RIP but anyway when I first watched it I didn't expect it to be that that good of a movie but it was a pretty damn good movie should watch it just saying
If you haven’t seen the 1981 original, I highly recommend it.
I love the grocery store scene!
Laceerenee09 Me too! That is such a badass chase scene!
I love My Bloody Valentine 3D. Some of the best kills in any slasher movie. One of my favorite slasher remakes of all time. All the acting was great
I really enjoyed your Sleepaway Camp commentary. This was really cool too.... I was wondering if you'd like to do a horror collaboration some day 😊
Awesome video buddy!!!! I saw My Bloody Valentine 3D in theaters and I loved it. I still love it today!!!!
Thanks bro. MBV3D is fantastic!
It's a fun remake for sure.
Man I love these D watch videos. They are so great. You have an amazing day and thank you for being happiness to my life and a lot of others
this is my first 3D movie movie that I really enjoyed never really liked the 3D glasses back in the day but after watching this it changed my mind and the 3D glasses has changed for the better sense not the paper type glasses and actual glasses makes it really nice now! thanks for your review 👍loved this and the original both are my top horror!
I have the passive lens 3D glasses and they work great.
Getting around to this one now. I'm late to this party!!! But I love me some DDW 👌🏼👍🏼
I have not seen this movie but I see TOM ATKINS aka 'the stache' himself which means I must acquire this immediately and put it in my eyes!! lol @ Levi get a job. He already has a job... being cute and cuddly! Haha 🐶
Awesome video Lee!
I really enjoyed this movie! Great pick Lee!
Metal Horror Pack Yeah it's awesome! Thanks Justin!
I just saw this last week on Netflix and I thought it was great. I really wish they would have made a sequel. I heard they originally had one planned but it didn't go through well with lionsgate or something.
Yes! A sequel would have been awesome Charlie!
You and me both Lee I've seen a few episodes of Supernatural but I can't get enough of it.
Am I the only one that finds it absolutely hilarious when Harry hacks Megan’s mop in half 😂
Jensen Ackles was in a horror film back in 2005 called "Devour". I unfortunately haven't seen it, but I've been wanting to. AestheticStar Yeah this and Valentine make a great double feature Amanda. And I'll definitely keep doing these. Thanks!
Amanda, have you seen Starry Eyes yet? It's fantastic....and is on Netflix.
I haven't seen that movie, I'll add it to my list & give it a watch either tonight or Friday night for sure. I've been looking for something new to watch, so thanks for the recommendation! :)
Thank god! Now i'm Just waiting for the review ❤❤❤
Yeah I definitely plan on reviewing it down the line.
Do you need a special 3D TV to watch this movie? And does the movie come with the glasses ?
I have a passive 3D tv that uses Real D glasses. The movie was the "real" 3D version and did not come with the glasses.
@@DrumdumsOfficial Should it still be good without a 3D TV?
@@DrumdumsOfficial I have a 4K TV, so I'll check if it is passive 3D. I just need the glasses.

He has not done any other horror movies except this. His co star in supernatural jared padalecki was the one that did several horror movies
Fantastic remake, will be watching this with Chris Snyder of his channel and original on mine this February gonna be a blast
Nice brother!
"It's like the hoola hoop of the 90's!" Dude, what have you been taking?! HAHAHAHA
Haha I'm out of my freakin' mind bro! I never know what's going to come out of my mouth in these things haha.
this movie had a amazing cast!!! All the characters were just great
So we see where the action happens with Mrs. Drumdums, lol.
Great review, man. I remember seeing this movie in college in the theater with some friends. I think we were drunk, which made it better for sure.
Drew Cade Haha this is a great "drunk" movie! And yes, that is where the action happens haha.
I really like the remake but the original is still the better film and honestly I found the look of the killer in the original looked more menacing! Luckily not but if I had I would have been long gun but it was an interesting experience!
Woah woah woah you haven't seen Behind The Mask!? Duuuude its awesome you should definately check it out ASAP!
Not yet but I hear it's fantastic.
You mean the man behind the mask (he's back) by Alice Cooper y'all would listen to the song it's dope as fuck.
Isn is Lair not Layer
Lair haha. Thanks for watching Robin.
funny enough this is the first movie i saw in 3D and only one i loved. i've seen 10 few by choice others only showings of movies i want to see and my bloody valentine is the only horror movie i've seen in 3D.
Yeah this one was shot perfectly for 3D. But I agree. Haven't seen a great 3D presentation since. Actually Resident Evil Afterlife is pretty good too.
Loved your video, buddy. This is a such a great remake to a great movie. You have a lovely & sweet Valentine's Day, too, handsome. 😊❤

Haha I will Jason.
I know can't wait for review
Love the review! this was actually the first Real-D movie I saw in theaters. I was not expecting the level of 3D, it made the whole movie better!
You're welcome Lely! The 3D was so good in this. Too bad I haven't been able to replicate that experience.
I still haven't seen this or the original. As someone who's trying to see all the old slasher films and their remakes, I should.
