You could play it without capos in any key, but G is probably best key for this song. You could play bar chords, but that would change the feel if the song. If you were to make it Reggae, then bar chords would work well. I think it would be good in D on the neck as well. Maybe in E too in the neck. Christafari does a great job, taking popular worship songs & playing them Reggae. I love their version of Holy Forever.
Dear Brian I need to tell you how very valuable and important that you are to not only my ministry but countless new worship leaders who have little to no experience with playing the guitar. Your lessons have been my lighthouse guiding us through the darkness of insecurity and inspiring us to be able to worship God and lead others to Christ. People always say how good I am or how they wished they could play like me and I know better. Because I would never have been able to do so without your teaching. GOD Bless You and Thank You So Very Much. I hope that you receive this. Everything I do and all the work's that God is using me for couldn't be possible if it wasn't for your lessons. I went from barely begin able to play, let alone play and sing at the same time, to not only leading worship, but also teaching others to play. Sorry for the long comment but it's long overdue. I felt the need to show my appreciation to you and to let you know how important that you are to a lot of people. I know that you don't do this for approval or for accolades, but sir you definitely deserve them. Once again thanks bro for everything. GOD Bless You.
i am mauras son and am 11 my dad plays guitar and drums so ive been teaching myself guitar for about 1 and a half months now and have already learned 4 songs thanks to u thanks so much god bless u
everybody asking for the strumming pattern and or complaining that he didn't explain the pattern, I mean cmon guys listen or look. rewind a countless amount of times until you get it. it takes time and willingness to learn music. and if you are relatively new to guitar then again, it takes time and patience and countless times of replaying and rewatching. hearing the same song a billion times will make you even better. and if you feel you don't have patience to do so, then it will show. just saying guys. he is great at what he does. music is beautiful, embrace it. don't rush it
Brian, thanks so much for making these tutoritals available. I'm new into leading worship, and am not a fantastic guitar player, but these lessons break it down and are very easy to follow. God bless you and your ministry bro.
thank you so much. this is the first christian song i learn on guitar. i play drums in praise n worship n always thought guitar was too hard to learn till i found u. woo hoo
This channel is just amazing. Everyday i just come ad look for song i like which there are alot of and learn it in minutes. Thanks a ton for all the videos. God bless You
It's easy to follow because of using easy keys; which is easy to follow the chords and give an easy way to worship God in a song.. thanks...Keep it up Bro!
Love this song so much 🥰 thanks very much for sharing with us your wonderful talent 💕 Can you pls play this song with an ukulele?? 😍 much appreciated 🍀
Thank you so much, this tutorial was awesome! Could you tell me the strumming you used on C at the end of the bridge pretty please? I can't seem to get it right
Thanks! I've found myself leading worship for my new small group (part of a huge international church called Fellowship of the Emirates) over in Dubai. I usually leave the accompaniment to the experts, but alas, here I am with a borrowed classical guitar (ouch!) and no calluses. Any advice other than buy a cheap guitar with lower action? Ever tried glueing fingertips lol
Awesome... you've got a Vlog niche if you want it. This is well explained and you've got a really interesting personality to hear break stuff down. Nice! Where is your church - River Oaks, I think you said...? Those chairs look comfy... :)
after many years of not attending catholic church, and finally learning to play acoustic at 56, i have found myself attending a new testament christian church. I would love to learn some of these songs. I do have one question. In all the christian guitar lessons, you all play the c chord as a cadd9. Can i play a regular c chord with normal fingering.
You seem to be in a hurry to go home after church brother 😁 (unlike your usual videos). Can you please post a link to a better explanation of the strumming pattern? Thanks in advance
I like the song, but not the techno bits. Would rather have the rhythm be more natural sounding. Still a great song & we will be playing ut for the first time this coming Sunday.
thank you so much. this is the first christian song i learn on guitar. i play drums in praise n worship n always thought guitar was too hard to learn till i found u. woo hoo

Finally, someone without a capo. I've been searching for hours.
I agree. I know most use capos for the tone they want.....but I like the non capo thing. What do I know...I'm the bass player 🤷🏻♂️
