i'm going to start breeding axolotls once i get older, when i have the most knowledge on them. i don't want to start breeding them now because if they die, then it's due to my lack of knowledge. plus, i have school to handle.
i do already have an axolotl, he was once in a very poor living space. about 10 gallons was the size of his tank, if you could call it a tank. the old owner even stopped feeding him for 2 weeks !! it enraged me so much to see an innocent axolotl done dirty like that. now he's very happy, his appetite has gotten better, he has a tank that's way bigger, a hide his actual size, and lots of decorations. he's also very happy and when i'm cleaning the walls of his tank with a sponge he swims up to my hand and nuzzles against it. he's literally the cutest, sweetest boy and i love him more than anything.
Fire belly newts are pretty cool too.

The boy I tutor got super interested in axolotls from this video and this was the first one he ever watched. I’m going to get some and breed them and he’s going to name the boy Otto and the girl grace.

Thank for this video I’m trying to breed mine but we have to feed them bloodworms and fish cubes and do water changes (The stuff that’s in the cubes is bloodworms fish and earth worms)

Ahhh I remember when I would do daily water changes to my axolotls in a small tub. They were only a cm long, now they are about 4 inches. In a 20 gallon.

Hi, do you have any ideas of fish that would fit in for the Halloween spirit? I just need some ideas :) I’ve got the idea for ‘ghostly’ fish, like glass tetra and catfish that are almost completely transparent. Also of course ghost shrimp and Amano shrimp but do you have any ideas otherwise? Thanks

Ive left my eggs in the tank too long before because i noticed they laid them right as we were fixing to head out for the weekend. They did eat them all. There were like 3 left when we got back home

Hi I have some axolotl eggs they hatched 4 days ago and are not eating they are all alive but two are floating. They are bot eating I've tried daphnia and flakes . Water and levels are all fine what should I do ? Will they just start eating?HELP!!
Hi! I've just bought two baby Axolotls. Im having some trouble feeding the little guys, and I would like some advice. I try to introduce them to Bloodworms with forceps, but they run away. Is there anyway I can feed them without using forceps?
They might be afraid of the forceps, so I just leave the frozen bloodworms in the water for them to feed at their own pace. If they still won't eat, live blackworms have always done very well for me.

My axolotls loved Hikari Sinking Carnivore Pellets ( amzn.to/37rHs2f ), but many owners also use salmon pellets or other high protein prepared foods. :)
