Maaan, I really hope they do another story mode (highly doubt it but still). I think it's part of the reason Brawl had so much replay value to me. It's just nice to have something to work for rather than going match after match until you and your friends are bored. I liked SSBUs party additions, but it just wasn't the same. There's just no other feeling than getting an insanely awesome cutscene and watching your favorite characters from across all of Nintendo interacting and saving the day.

Well thank god we're never getting the Master Fortress again. That whole segment was just dumb. Especially if you're trying to navigate with a slow-moving character. That lava is annoying as all hell

after looking at the comments on how crazy the ssb4 boss is i feel like a king now for beating it with one stock left and having such a high percentage
Smash had good final battle music too. Except for smash 4 in my opinion. Tabuu's theme and the N64 Master Hand battle are amazing

He has like 3 of them.
It's knockback is pretty moderate in easy and normal (compared to the others), but starting to hard, it's just a big joke.
If you flawlessed Tabuu and Master Core in the highest difficulty I may have actually died from awe.

Bob Thebuilder if you can figure out what to do when you get launched, cuz his up special is sleep. So... yeah. He also has a pretty low damage. His smash is only useful if you're opponents have never seen a jigglypuff before in smash.

2014: MASTER HAND AND CRAZY HAND WITH DEMONIC BLACK MIST. And to make it even cooler, show their core when they are defeated. Then you can beat it up without being harmed.

although i wish they would get rid of the continue in this game since in order to even fight master fortress you have to have at least difficulty 8.0 i believe so go lower than that and no second chances to fight it
Master fortress has enemies like subspace emissary if you think about it.
Brawl had the most epic one. That's quite surprising.

Didn't we all? I took over 5 tries to kill him the first time, my sister came in with DeDeDe and killed him with only taking 50% damage.... she barely even plays Smash... I think I cried.

+Supersonic70665 Yeah, you are right. In fact depending on what difficulty you play on you ether fight master hand, master hand and crazy hand, master hand and crazy hand with master core. Also if you play 9.0 difficulty, master core is really hard to beat(everyone know that) as he has so many different forms, it's irritating!
Oh my god... the forms of Master Core! They represent Smash Bros itself!
1: The Bruiser with powerful attacks and strong grapple games
2: The Beast, representing the strength of powerful attacks with different types of attacks
3: The Sword, representing the strategy and will of the swordfighter
4: The Doppelgänger, showing desperation of the fighter, trying to match the power of the other player with their own strength
5: The Fortress: the final test of strength, ability, and agility of the fighter to fully defeat the foe
6: The Core, the final form that accepts its defeat, much like a player would after realizing it has no chance against a clearly superior opponent. The Core is destroyed, the corruption is no more, and life returns to normal for the Smash scene, much like the outrageously competitive player finally realizing that the game, much like all video games, are meant to be one thing and one thing alone:
Fun
Full forming (with their names)
Master Giant: Very strong, might as well use sidestepping and some blocking.
Master Beast: Strong, easier to dodge attacks, land strong blows.
Master Blades: Lots of weak, overwhelming attacks. The attacks will swarm you, so be careful.
Master Shadow: Same as you, but high HP, and some huge damage. Gets smaller when has lower HP. Deal a strong blow to finish it off.
Master Fortress: The final, and maybe the hardest stage, has enemies and other things. Break the cores and go deeper. Use very strong blows. Because of how long it will take, there is 3 extra minutes added to your time. There are 2 average cores, 1 stronger core, and the final core as the most powerful one of all.
Master Core: The moment Master and Crazy Hand surrender and let you defeat them. Don't wait too long or there is an instant killing attack that only is dodgeable by sidestepping perfectly. Use any attack you want.

It doesn't seem that Tabbu was in the hardest difficulty, I remember that in the boss mode in intense difficult his attack patterns were a lot faster and unforgiven, so... there's that.

Of course. When you're playing on the highest difficulty, the bosses have quicker attacks (like the Tabuu grab). You take alot of damage when you get hit. I'm not sure about 64 and Melee but I'm sure that#s the case too.

dgbeck Is there a proper way to really compare the difficulty between those 2 bosses? They're both very different. With Sans, you're focusing on dodging the onslaught of attacks, but with Tabuu, even though you're dodging less frequent attacks, you can actually damage him immediately, so you're successfully attacking, as well as dodging.
Also, difficulty is up to the player, right? What might be hard for me might be easy for you, mainly because I suck.
(Take what I'm saying as a grain of salt. I don't have Brawl, and I've only done True Pacifist in Undertale.)
