mam, u said mandibular mlolar use this sapce to shift mesialy to establish class 1 relation...then what about maxillary molar?..how this leeway space is utilised in maxillary arch?
+surya mani singh We ask the patient not to have anything for atleast 30mins after restoration has been placed. For the next 24 hours the patient is advised not to eat sticky or hard food and avoid chewing from the restoration side. Do recall the patient for follow up.
Yeah it is super important ; when this comes as a 10 mark question they usually ask the eruption pattern/ development of Occlusion for 5 marks with leeway space of Nance
+Young Dentist thank you. There's an event going on, on our Facebook page. The option which reaches 250 comments first will be chosen as the giveaway. So kindly mention your choice in the comment there as well :)
Assalamo alaikum Hammas, primate spaces are present mesial to upper canine and distal to lower canine. So when the primary teeth are still present in mouth and the first permanent molar erupts it utilises this primate space to shift mesial and this is called the early shift since it happens early in time. However later in time when the permanent first molar shifts mesially after the deciduous one exfoliate it utilises the leeway space and hence called late shift. Hope it helps. Do share Dr.Teeth to help us reach more students :)
dr. , if suppose , early shift of permanent molars utilised primate spaces, then what is the effect of leeway space of nancy in the 2nd transition period on occlusion. and.. is end on end in primary teeth is class 1 in permanent teeth.? cud plz clarify this ?

Also give instructions for proper oral hygiene and inform them that they could feel sensitivity for few days.
