- Ain Dubai, Arabic for ‘Dubai Eye’ is officially the world's largest and highest ferris wheel, standing 820 feet tall. The Dubai Eye is almost double the size of the London Eye, and can welcome 1,750 visitors at a time. The Dubai Eye took nearly 8 years to build. And as it takes 38 minutes to make a full rotation, pretty sure they aren’t recommending the Dubai Eye for anyone who’s afraid of heights. Inside Edition’s TC Newman has more. #InsideEdition

I still remember riding on the Singapore Flyer in 2010, back when it was the tallest ferris wheel in the world. It was a 30 minute ride and we rode it during the sunset, it was pretty nice.

The London Eye will always be my favorite Ferris Wheel. It’s just so iconic and it looks so cool since it’s right on the Thames.

Dubai. A place many would like to experience. But at what cost? Most of the rest of the human population can't afford 1 day in Dubai let alone a 1 week vacation. Another beautiful place on Earth priced out of range to the average visitor without wealth.
For some reason, it doesn't attract me. The only place in Dubai I wouldn't mind seeing is that fairytale looking garden. Otherwise, when it comes to Arabic countries, I think I prefer places with ancient architectures and historical places.

The now 2nd tallest/largest Ferries Wheel in the world is in Las Vegas Nevada. (Aka...The High Roller at 550 ft.) The 3rd largest is the Singapore Flyer at 541 ft. The London Eye is 443 ft. for reference. 😎
If I remember correctly, the London Eye was first tested on New Year's Eve in 1999 without passengers. Then the first passengers came on in February 2000, and then officially opened in March. It was supposed to be temporary structure for the millennium, set to be dismantled after five years, but it was kept because it became so iconic. The first New Year's Eve celebration at London Eye was in 2003, welcoming in 2004. LED lights were installed in 2006 to make the Eye more prominent at night, and has since become a major tourist attraction and icon of London itself.
The eye of London was horrifying when I went on it so I’ll pass on this one. But it’s beautiful.

Inside Editions reporting is garbage. They list other big ferris wheels but they refuse to even list the biggest one before this and an American one. The High Rollar ferris wheel in Las Vegas. Their incompetence is unreal.
My girlfriend broke up with me at our favorite date spot. I was so shocked and heartbroken I got up and immediately stormed out the door…And that's how I fell off the Ferris wheel.

I'm afraid of falling but am not afraid of heights. I'd rather be on a ferris wheel or at an extreme height but reliably secure than on a ladder 8 ft. up from the ground.
