That is a very nice watch. For the purists the replacement case will hit the value far more than the absence of original papers, but to my mind you have a watch that looks great and is able to perform as designed. I have a 1680 which has had everything replaced except the movement and case back and is a great looking watch and very practical to wear. Sure is but its nice to have all the paper work supporting it , Its the only time I purchased a watch as an investment as I'm hoping come 15 years or so it will double in valve , but I still wear it out once a month or so and had the back of the other day to inspect the movement and oil levels

nice review i got mine in early '76 and has been in my wrist since then a lot of dives and always perfect

It would have to be the `Red Sub `i love the faded bezel and Top Hat crystal
