As someone who grew up playing Super Mario Galaxy, this hits the nostalgia hard. (Hard to believe that it's been 11 years since the game came out! Crazy!) Honestly, I think the Comet Observatory is one of the best hub worlds in the Mario series, if not in gaming. It's just super fun to mess around in, from flying around with the Red Star (one of the best powerups, btw!!) to jumping off into the far reaches of space, only for the observatory to pull you back in. And the music does an incredible job of making you feel like you're in an extremely safe space, where nothing can hurt you --- and that is, in fact, the truth of the Observatory! Fantastic job on this one!
Another great choice for the music box I like the later “verses” since I’m the game those verses have more instruments that drown out the music box but you went and replaced them with music boxes... beautiful.
