You start up the game. The intro plays through, you become acquainted with the adventure you're about to set upon. Now it's just time to select your save file.
ALttP chose extremely well for which track should become the file select music for the rest of the series. The Great Fairy Fountain evokes a sense of calm, a moment's respite from the quest that you're one in a mystical spring, whether that be stopping the moon from falling or travelling across the open seas. And it works even better on a music box!

Summing up the beauty of the world... Who cares about the hardships.. There will always be a place to heal, the great fairy fountain will *always* be there.
My personal favorite melody in Zelda, and one of my favorites in all of gaming. Practically brings tears to my eyes everytime I listen.
I love how this is slightly slower than most renditions of this song. It ads to the dreamy atmosphere of the music. Blessed🙏
