If you don‘t use Lipo batteries but 6x18650 lions in a 3S2P configuration, you can get >6400mAh under 330g of weight. But be careful not to HV charge them like the original mavic cutoff voltage.

Your quote might be depending on his research results or country, first world will have to pay more than others I guess, the typical McDonalds price model about the real strength of an economy or currency. not really the way I would want to share, feels like in the early days of peniciline and the black market back then.

For example I need the extra battery life so I can check fishing nets out on the sea, sometimes they are 6km away, so I -literally- cant switch the battery.

What I would have done is to have improved the aerodynamics, positioning the 3 cells in the shape of a triangle, that is, one at the front, one at the back, and the third at the top between the two. This way it would not be so high, the weight would be more distributed and the aerodynamics would improve. I wish you did a project like that.
add a car battery to your mini & I bet it will last for 6month or more. but sadly it will not fly with it. cheers! & appreciate me for more useless information about products.🤙🏼🖕🏼🧠
