I have a flute that Charles made and it is an amazing. I feel so honored to be able to have a flute of this quality. I recently played two flutes belonging to a friend that were of such poor quality I felt sorry for the owner. If you wish to play the Native American flute hold out for the best and get one of Charles Littleleaf's flutes they are amazing in every way. These flutes have spirit that will fill your life with joy and spread joy to others who hear it. Thank you Charles. Many blessings.

Charles, that little four year old bear cub has traveled far since that first magic day at the river... You found your self in a dark place... And found your way back into the light!
You have re-gained the magic of your people, and I hope with all my heart that you get to implant that magical seed you found into in many many people through your gentle way, and your beautiful spiritual music... You have touched me.
    Thank you.

When I listen to your music it gives me a peace that I can find no other way. My Great-grandmother was Lenape and your talent stirs something in my soul that no other song can bring to life. I have played guitar more than 30 years and although it gives me pleasure to make beautiful sounds, it is in no way as moving as the music that comes from your flute. You have touched my heart and I wish to learn this instrument. You are an inspiration, my brother and I thank you for sharing your story.

I have many of his songs on a CD that for every night now for over a couple years, I listen to at bedtime. It calms me so I can sleep. 2 months ago I had to end my 25 year marriage, one of the hardest things I ever had to do. I could not sleep as my spirit felt broken. So I looked up Mr Littleleaf on here and found more songs and I have a player that repeats and all night I sleep in peace listening to his music. It comes from his heart, his Soul. I wake up to his music and I feel a positive energy.
I enjoy other Native American Flute players and I respect them but none can ease my troubled spirit like Charles LittleLeaf's flute and his singing can.
This video above of him talking about his first experience with the river is very close to the same kind of experience I had at age 4 in Echo Oregon with the Umatilla River...It is a living river like your Deschutes and all other Creator made rivers...
Thank you Charles for sharing this very intimate part of your life. I look forward to meeting you some day...Thank you again for the music you make, I believe, saved my life that first month after I told my wife she had to go...I was taking way too many sleeping pills and still no sleep, but your songs and me praying to God, brought me out of it...You are a good man...Keep up your good works as you help more folks than you will ever know in this earthly world...

I think your story is amazing. I also think these flutes touch the human spirit in a way other instruments don't. I just got into these, my first was bamboo, cost me $36, my second is cedar and cost me $44, my third will most likely cost over $150, I have no idea where this journey will lead me, but I have indeed begun a journey.

Charles, you are an inspiration to me in my flute journey. I am of mixed heritage, 1/2 Norwegian, and many other nations. Perhaps I was a Native in a past life,, but I can only wonder about that.
I was introduced to the flute and the native culture a little over 7 years ago. It has become a life journey for me. Some say I play well, I prefer to say I am a beginner, on a long journey. I would imagine that I will play the flute til my last breath. One day I hope to play a flute crafted by you.
