I just discovered this series and every single video has me looking at synths a different way 10/10

This whole playlist is awesome! I'm learning/getting creative ideas even from the videos that don't apply to my synth (MODX8). I'm pretty new to the synth world, but my brother has been a sound engineer/musician for 25-30 years, and when I told him I was watching a playlist with Daniel Fisher teaching, he thought that was so awesome. He once talked with you on the phone when he was buying the Kurzweil K2500 back in the day! :) Thanks!

I hadn’t delved deep enough into my Hydra to see this yet, so thanks for the heads-up.

I think that it would be interesting to learn about using a looper like the Strymon Timeline together with synthesizers. What do you think about this idea? Interesting for Synth Clips?

Hi Florian Ruf. I will add Synths and Loopers to the Synth Clips list. Thanks for watching! -_Daniel_

I always thought the Hydra had endless encoders with led levels to show were the encoder is set for each patch.

Hi Jonti Pitt. That's true for the eight MACRO knobs that are in the middle of the panel. Thanks for watching! -_Daniel_

That also applies to many Midi controllers

I know how my Deepmind deals with this natively, in the old school way you described. I’m not sure if there are other options, but I’ll have to look!! Please do a video about the basics of using multiple synthesizers to make music. Not just how they would hook together, but how you would incorporate the sounds of multiple synthesizers into an improvisation.

Hi grant jonsn. I'll add the "multiple synthesizers" idea to our Synth Clips list. Check your owner's manual about Global Syntem Settings to learn how to choose Pass-Thru and Jump fader modes. Thanks for watching! -_Daniel_

i can see the drawback of knobs set to 'scale' is running into dead ends on your sweeps potentially
