  • Wonderful 2 night stay on Little Margaret Lake. From heavy rain and bugs, to loons and moose! Enjoy!

Oh, the bugs at the put-in were out in full force. All the way to the site, Little Venus, looked like, "Why are we doing this?"
I loved the campsite, and the water was so clear.
    Thanks for taking us along.

Very sweet campsite, and it's always wonderful to have the lake to yourself, so great start to the year I think! The black flies just became brutal this weekend up here in Sudbury too.

Hi! How long is the paddle from. access point to portage, how long the portage and how far away is this site from the portage?

I’d say you’d be at your campsite in an hour .. that’s allowing for a double carry. The portage was pretty short, but it was very challenging under the weather conditions, muddy, some small hills, and wooden ramps you have to go on.
