Prices in the UK are even worse. We have to pay £13000 for an Elvira House of Horrors as an example. I wanted a Pulp Fiction LE but was too slow pulling the trigger. Only 18 were available in the UK.
Not beating you up as I love both Stern and CGC. Congratulations on getting a Pulp LE! I got one too and believe this will stand out in room filled mostly with Sterns.
I can't wait for the 2nd remake of Medieval Madness by Chicago Gaming. I like and appreciate all pinball manufacturers in 2023. I hope they can all keep going

I have to say, I concur with you. The Stern machines work to various degrees of success depending on what your flavor on the month is (The Elvira and John Wick Come to Mind), taken money out of the equation. However, having just played I believe my first Chicago Gaming Company machine, Pulp Fiction; the quality is just oozing out. Less is more, and could stop playing Pulp fiction and that was with at least 10 other Stern machines in the vicinity.
I would put Stern last in terms of feel and quality in modern pins; all the other manufacturers feel better to me....AP's feel as close to B/W's as you are going to get
Hey Cellcade, I would be interested seeing the difference in quality of cgc and stern. Maybe using video to show it? Like are the cabs built more solid? Maybe show the screen printing vs sterns? Just a idea.

The reason why the James bond anniversary is so expensive is because of the license fees. There are many movies shown on the cabinet. And they have to pay for each license. Because Stern made other James Bond pinball machines. What are cheaper then your Pulp Fiction. And way more sophisticated then their Anniversary James Bond. But those tables are based on one James bond movie. What makes them cheaper. Regarding prices. I personally think new machines are just to expensive. I don't have that kind of money. I buy second hand. But these days some of these second hand machines are so expensive. That they cost as much as a new one. Or the price difference is so little that you think maybe I should buy a new machine instead. But the thing that really bugs me. Is that it is hard for me to believe that Pinball machines can not be cheaper. Stern Have Home Pins. Great concept. But there is nothing home pin about those prices. Why not make a UNLICENSED home pin. That will reduce cost already. And instead of a new machine every 3 or 4 years. Make one for 8 years. But I'm not a business person maybe that is not possible I don't know. But I'm sure there are ways to make it cheaper. For example why not the same layout for 3 different home pins. So the same layout. But for 3 different themes. And all of those themes unlicensed. Can you imagine how much cost that would reduce. Not having to invest time and development for 3 different machines. But instead just invest time into one machine and make 3 different ones out of them.. Maybe give all 3 machines different codes to go with the theme. So only the layout is the same. I think that a new home pin machine should cost around 2500 euro's. And this would change entire industry. Because second hand prices for pinball machines would also go down because of it.
to be fair.. they didnt have any development to invest in for CC, its a copy, and has no licensing, it should be cheaper. If i wasnt 5 machines deep since october id line up for a PF

Complaining about the price of LE's is an old discussion. Focus on your message, not the pre-amble (You may have jumped the gun, Galactic Tank Force looks to be an interesting game. But we need to see some gameplay)

Oh well this channel is not for you then. But I am not going to cast rainbows all the time just for subs. That would be very dishonest. Also played GTF at TPF. I was super excited for it. I ordered my Pulp Fiction LE as well after finally getting my long awaited Xenon and Black Knight tables.
I thought about getting one but now it seems impossible to get an LE.
