A brave lion desperately fought off 25 hyenas for 30 minutes to protect his prized meal.
Thabiso Molatlhegi was leading a tour through the Okavango Delta, Botswana, when he heard a commotion from three kilometres away.
Epic footage captured a lone lion trying to protect an impala kill from a group of frenzied hyenas surrounding it.
