I absolutely love the Vaer. I have the 36 mm version of what you have and it has been the best work watch I’ve ever had. My work is pretty rough so it has really been through the paces and takes it like a champ.
How's it holding up now?
I have a few Citizens and I really like the eco-drive mechanism. If it’s going to be quartz might as well be solar. And one of those Citizens eco-drives is over 10 years old and I’ve had zero problems.
They’re a great quality watch- I just had my Citizen Nighthawk finally start giving me battery problems after about 15 years.
@@the1010watchclub oh no. What kind of problems? I assume you mean it can’t hold a charge for long. I wonder how much it would cost to change the battery?
Yes just charging issues, it needs a new battery. When I send it in I’ll make a video about it
The ARK has actually been my favorite SWC watch that I’ve had in for review. I really like the looks and vibe of the Citizen…I also think it has more of a pilot watch feel.

Received the Vaer C5 Tactical Two Weeks ago and the SWC Ark on Monday. SWC is so light! Been wearing it since receipt. Both are awesome watches...Around the house my choice is the Ark. Around town it is the C5 Tactical. C5 Tactical as C3 Lume which I like much better than the BGW9 on the Ark...thank you for your review!

The Ark has my vote. It is my favorite grab and go watch. You can't beat that lume or AR coating.
There is a lot to like about the Ark, but I think maybe a slightly more modern looking handset would’ve worked better there. The Vaer is really sharp-looking too.

The lume for all three is decent but the Vaer is brightest and most consistent with both hand and numeral brightness
At review. I have the SWC Ark GMT and I love it. It's a gorgeous watch that comes with a very nice leather travel case that will hold 2 watches.

The Citizen is my favorite. If I were lost in the jungle I’d like to have that watch. Well, the Atlas from Momentum Beats these 3 IMO.

You're lucky you got a Vaer that works,the one i bought did not. No help from the company at all.
