Great stuff. This is definitely all that I need to get through this technique. I was entirely confused about the sequence of pull, breath, kick and stretch. Thanks
We need an update with Leon Marchand swimming, more Adam peaty, and more Michael Andrew. Edit: we definitely need Qin Haiyang on repeat now lol, his stroke is very fluid, no stops and studderings.
When you recover the hands out of the water it's faster and it causes less resistance (drag) and the muscles activated during the recovery face get less tired hence making you more efficient.
Personal style. Not really a proven advantage but some swimmers feel like it's faster because of momentum. In some ways, there is some logic because air is less resistant than water, but then they end up putting the hands in the water again which causes more resistance, so...

Yes, it is.
What a relaxing video
Really nice video
Can someone explain to my why swimmers pull their hands out of the water in breaststroke? Thanks !
I had the same question. I was told by my coach that they do it to reduce drag.

oh my god thank you
I wonder if the pull outs and technique have changed since Kevin Cortes and Michael Andrew came to the stage
Sometimes it just helps to see it done properly rather that tons of videos with dub step music and talking
Very good
Is she opening her mouth underwater at 1:23 ?
Yes to exhale
Looks like she never closes her mouth at all.
Most exhale with their nose, so she has very strange technique for breathing.
Wish my stroke will be this smooootthhhh 😍
GOOD STUFF....
Wow what a smart BStroke liked it
the first swimmer , is it me ? but her form looks different
Yeah Rebecca soni if you don’t know her she had the WR in the 100 and 200..
i like to visualize the "scull n scoop" sequence.
레베카 쏘니 breaststroke loop
It’s 90% kick 10% stroke.
doing practice afternoon
it would be a lot better with explanations
👍💓
👏👍♥
🌸💙🐬
They are professional swimmers.. it will be a problem for the beginners to breathe with every stroke.... So stick to basics
What? Breathing every stroke in breaststroke IS basic.
It’s illegal to not breath every stroke man lol
