Even though I’m not hiking with you and we don’t know each other I have felt like part of your Tramily (RR, Boujee, and Somwhere) I know you have to leave the trail behind darn it 😂 but I’m feeling so sad but also happy that y’all finished your journeys ❤ Please continue telling your story from time to time I’m sure I can speak for other subscribers that we will miss our trail friends that we watched every day! 😊

Have you any videos prior to day 45? I’m going to have to watch the repeats as soon as you get to Canada. You’re looking more and more trail weary despite the wonderful views. What an amazing achievement 🎉😊
I remember encountering an older hiker 50 years ago through this area. He told me that he no longer cared if he was going uphill or not, it didn’t matter to him. He did California one year, then the cascades the next.
At this point you're home working hard on your book. What an awesome journey.

Another TH-camr went to PCT Days and interviewed some people and asked two questions: 1. What is the first piece of gear you'll ditch on trail? 2. What piece of gear will you always choose to bring with you? (Aside from the obvious, i.e. pack, sleeping bag., etc...)
How about you two?
You had a spectacular weather day! The views are off the charts!! Your persistence and fortitude is palpable. I hope you are getting settled back into life off the trail. Will miss seeing your videos each morning.
I bought mixed media paper today- sketched this past weekend. You know, sometimes when you are traveling, you see a scene- and there is no one around to take your picture (and I rarely do selfies- rather get my toes in the picture or used to get my horses ears.) OR, you can't stop and take a picture- like on a highway with people zooming around you. At that point, you just have to commit it to your brain as a memory. ----- well going to pull all those out and paint them---- with my garage sale water colors. These I will use toward further illustrating my books/stories. Thanks for the idea. :) Rest well.
