@@VikramKaushal_Official sir what is the maximums possible marks one can score in 10 marker and 15 markers and also in optional 10 and 20 marks.
Does poor academic puts a uper ceiling on marks in interview.

One can expect in the range of 70% to 80% marks for a really good answer. For the optional it could even be uptil 85% lets say. But having said that, nobody has access to UPSC checked answer-sheets and these are estimates from students' own feedback and average scores..

And no dear, your mains score may possibly direct the board to ask some flavour of questions but dosen't limit the scores you can get in the interview. There have been many candidates who barely got the interview call on margin, but had great interview scores.
