Hey SunRaes! I know this video is lengthy, but I hope you enjoy it and the content is helpful. I do want to say to those of you who ask about the music and songs in my videos, they can be found on Epedimic Sound... a link is in the description box. I just pick a song and use it, I do not memorize them by the time I put up the video, I do not remember the name or artist of the songs. Feel free to use the link to subscribe to Epidemic if you are interested in any of the songs in my videos. Thank you for watching!
I love that you said you add a little frizz to it. So many people are afraid of having frizzy hair when it’s really just part of having curly hair and I think something we should embrace more.
Good point about some of us getting freaked out by the frizz and then abandoning separating the twists. I'm definitely guilty of that. You certainly proved your point with this style because it looked full and thick once you were done!
Yeah, I had to learn that the hard way. I would always give up and then I said, let me just keep going and when I did, I liked my results, so I kept doing it. I'm glad it was helpful to you.
I just love you!!! You are such a VIBE in this video Ms. Rae!! Thanks for the "Frizz" tips 🥰 I can't wait for you to get your UFD Curly Magic so you can make a video. I'm already wanting a new video 🤞🏽❤
Im glad you showed us what to to in the front of your head at life speed instead of speeding it up. I'm new to this & guessing as I go... I do get compliments. I been watching you for a while.
Glad it was helpful! Aww, that's awesome that you are getting compliments; we are often more critical of ourselves than others are of us. I bet your hair looks great. Thanks for watching and supporting my channel.
Blueberry Bliss is one of my favorite twisting cream with Soultanticals I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butta you should try it with the Mango Dip Detangling Slip soooo so so moisturizing you only need a very small amount of the Butta so don’t use a lot. Also when I wipe off the excess I put it on the next section I’m about to do. Your hair came out beautifully 💜💜
That was some good advice about separation and frizz really..your hair turned out good. I didn’t love love this combo for me..also the Eden body works glaze is pretty good too on the edges
Yes, I love the Eden Edge Glaze and I picked it up first, but then I said "wait, I have some Curls edge control, let's stick with the same brand" so that's why I used the Curls. But I definitely like both. Thanks, I think people see a little frizz and give up and then their hair looks funny so they end up not using the product anymore or saying that they can't do twist outs or whatever. When in actuality, they just need to keep going and fooling with it until it looks like they want it to. Thanks for tuning in.
@@NaturalRaeRae it’s me I’m the people 🤣 and I promise I didn’t think of what you said until you said it and it makes perfect sense..the hair does what it does ..gotta learn to roll with it ❤️
The results of this twist out look great! I am very guilty of bailing from the style due to frizz! I am going to try a twist out again and use your suggestion of finishing the whole head and then assessing! Thanks for the great tips!
Hi RaeRae… It turned out really cute and defined. I have the cream but not the hair milk(I’m supposed to be on a “no buy” break 😐). I haven’t attempted flat twist because my hair tangles easily but I’m going to have to try it because the definition is on point. Great video
Thank you. If you don't have the milk, use the leave-in. Or, use a different leave in altogether. It will give you a soft hold, but moisturized and it smells great. Thanks for tuning in.
Twist out turned out nice. Love Love that curls milk. I like to use that milk with gel, mousse, custard or as a one and done for cute pinups. I need to do some twist out.
Thank you Rae for this review.. I luv your hair it’s so full and healthy.. yes I luv my frizz as well 🥰💙.. luv the Happy Holidays intro and like “viewers choice” I think that name is perfect! 🥰
hi rae 🤗 that's a challenge for me too with my giveaways, when the person isn't publicly subscribed where i can see it. i have this line but haven't used the products in a while (outta the gel). im still trying to get hold of flat twisting and braiding...one day. great final results. i like the volume and definition. at least it was just a little coated feeling and you can use less product next time. tfs 😁
Girl! I was over here like did I send this one into her? It sounds like my combo. And then I got to the end and boom! 🤯 Your hair looked soft, shiny and defined! I really love the final result, but how did you feel about it long-term? Day 3 and beyond? Thank you for trying one of my faves and for the channel shoutout! ☺️
Still wearing it right now. My hair is very soft and defined; I will do a short to update you all on the 3rd day and beyond hair. I have decided not to add the 3rd day in these twist out videos because it causes me to take to long to upload. Thanks for the combo and my pleasure on the shoutout! 🥰
i just got the hair milk for the first time from Target i had a gift card so i only paid 7 for it .... and the blueberry line is one of my holy grails lines for my daughter havent tried the HM yet though so i think i wanna try it with the control paste thanks for the reminder
I think the control paste works best on dry hair, so I would use it to do a twist out on dry or stretched hair. If you try it on wet hair with the milk, let me know how that works for you. Thanks for tuning in.
Your hair looks beautiful. Thank m going to take your advice and stop running from the frizz. Is 3 days in twists too long for a nice twist out? I have both of these, I should try this combo 🎉
Yep, quit running from frizz and embrace the beauty of it. I think it depends on the products you use whether 3 days in twists is too long. If the product is really moisturizing, I think you can have your hair in twists for a long time and still get a good twist out (as long as you protect your hair at night). But if the products you use, don't have long lasting moisture, then you probably won't get as good a twist out once you take the twists out. At least that's my take on it. Thanks for tuning in.
Hey Rae great video! The twist and shout cream is one of my holy grail products but I noticed recently there has been a reformulation. It now has mango seed and shea butter 🤔. I guess it happened sometime last year but I had so much product from 2020 I never made a purchase to notice. Now that I’m running out and looked at a new container I saw the change 😪. Have you noticed? If so did your twist out come out the same?
Thanks. Marcella, I was on a no buy all last year so my jars are from 2020. I am not sure what the ingredients read so I will have to check, but the product worked well for me and I haven't noticed any difference. Thanks for tuning in.

I agree! I think it gives character to the hair if its done right. Thanks for watching.
I felt the statement of not detangling hair with precious DC in my spirit! 👏🏾
Nah, I ain't using my good DC to detangle my hair...nope, not gonna do it.😂 Thanks for tuning in.

A lil bit of controlled frizz ain't never hurt nobody!! Lol

Hey Rae,
That's exactly how I set my hair yesterday, I used different stylers though😀
What stylers did you use?

I have the butta and I need to use it up, so I may try this combo. Thanks for sharing it and for the tip of putting the excess in the next section.

Your flat twist out came out great, and the frizz on some flat twists makes your hair look 👀 great.

Exactly, less is more a lot of the times. If you can't do flat twists, just do single twists; they're nice too! Thanks for tuning in.
Girl I need a little frizz, my hair is kind of thin on top and the frizz makes it look a little thicker. Your hair looks good
Thank you! Yep, frizz means volume! Thanks for tuning in.
