Thank you to anyone who had a hand in creating these commercials. I miss them. Isn't it weird to be grateful for commercials? That nostalgia feeling is crazy overwhelming.
I sincerely remember every one of these❤ my favorite was the Donal Logue skits as the cab driver. There was one where he basically narrated what happened in Aerosmiths video 'Crazy'....it was hilarious how he described the end. ...."the tractor is driving itself and it spells the word, Crazy in the corn field'
Какое классное время было, много разной музыки было, чтобы второй раз посмотреть понравившийся клип, приходилось несколько дней ждать, сейчас одно и тоже крутят.
The current MTV is complete shit with things like awful reality shows. I was born until the 2000s, but the 80s, I know it was a great years, I love the music of those years. In the other hand, the programs I saw on this channel were also quite good, without a doubt my childhood watching MTV was unforgettable. I miss those days #IWantMyMTV, and by the way, I knew that phrase, thanks to the iconic Dire Straits song "Money for Nothing", which is one of my favorites in 80s music
I remember waking up at 3AM. The TV was on, and playing MTV. There was blue smoke and the song "Caramel Prisoner" by Air playing. I was a little kid then. I'm 30 Years old and I still remember how scary and creepy that was. The commercial used to be on TH-cam (that's how I found out the name of the song) but I can't find the video any longer.
Im an 2000 girl... Who is watching random MTV commercial because im curious Theres something about 90's (i think) commercials that make it fun. But like it holds a certain nostalgic feeling to eat even tho i never even witness it myself. (Well i always wondered where old mv from 80's and 90's artist are shown)
I’ve been looking for a short MTV promo where a hippie dude says “I don’t drink a lot of milk, but when I do I drink it straight from the cow’s teat … Teat. Teat. Teat. Teat.”
Shortly after the 13:00 mark the announcer says....(wait for it).....wubba wubba wubba. Couldn't believe my ears, apparently Rick grew up on 80s mtv. I wonder if he could recall where it came from or if it was just a relapse in memory that made wubba wubba up or is it a nod to MTV and being sad it is gone. Either way it came from this commercial.
I want my Mtv BACK! Oh the things I would do or sacrifice to get the channel back, just as it was back then. Just about the most exciting thing in life at the time... and they ruined it so so so badly.
Still haven't found this advert they use to run all the time in the late 80's early 90’s: It was in black & White, had a heavy base, cool visuals including steam train. Might have been a safe sex or AIDS advert.
I remember the origins of MTV and feel betrayed by their turn to "reality tv". I remember MTV commercials where celebrities would say "together, we can make a difference" then MTV just abandoned "making a difference" and moved on to shameless profiteering. Better if MTV ceased to exist than disrespect its original mission.
There was a funny one of a middle aged white dude with an acoustic singing big pimpin in a Subway station my brother and I used to laugh so hard... At the end "I'm going pimpin everybody"
That old anti drug ad was everything!!!!!! Lol it's the guy from that movie... Where they kidnap the guy and he's a mobster. Can't remember the name for shit right now smh edit: suicide kings
What killed MTV? They added MTV news, embraced the gay agenda and started being woke and political just like all these companies today that are failing for the same reasons... MTV started out fun, artistic and all music. It pretty much stayed on in my house from 1983-2000s. I do watch Ridiculous now and then cause it's fun like MTV used to be and nothing else on tv makes you laugh anymore without some kind of agenda... Real World, Jack Ass, Nitro Circus, Rob n Big... They were good shows but non stop music was amazing... And the video Awards used to be fun and number one on TV till, you guessed it, they killed it with political agendas.....
Muito bom, saudades. Por que eles acabam com as coisas legais? Parecem burros, não entendo. Só pode ser um grande poder contra eles, um poder maligno e político que não gostava da MTV.
There’s more creativity shown in these bumps than all the content shown on mtv in the past 20 years combined.
When MTV actually played music All Day!! I miss those years!!

MTV needs to bring the music industry back & only music. These days suck!
