Attack Attack! spent their beginning figuring out who they were and I think they finally found out. 2: If you don't, this is more than likely an experimental stage. I'm sure their next album will be original style.

Three cheers to experimentation. Seriously, from the Atreyu-esque "Criminal" to this! Not to mention all the dubstep and accoustic remixes! Anything they touch is totally awesome. Normally when a band experiments, it's a complete and total failure. I'm floored at how flawlessly they pulled this off. Anything they touch turns to gold.

I've listened to Attack Attack! for a while now, and I love that they're trying out some new stuff. It's 100% their choice to do whatever kind of music they want to. They haven't changed as a band, they've simply grown. Don't expect all their music to be like this! They're an excellent band, let them have fun! :)
i really enjoy the fact how they have like 4 different styles on there new cd. it takes real talent to be able to adapt to different styles and do it so well. weather you like the song you must appreciate what they do.
I feel like Caleb wanted this and Criminal to be solely singing songs just to show people he could sing cleans. I love this song as well, Caleb has a fucking amazing voice, and thanks to him, Attack Attack! is becoming a better band. Their new song "The Motivation" is so good. I'm stoked for the new album in January.
It doesn't matter who they sound like. The point is they can do whatever genre they want and be good at it. They can mix genres and be good at it. Now that deserves some recognition. Not many bands can go through the loss of 2 vocalists and stay strong and alive and STILL experimental. This band may not be the most technical, but fuck they're talented.

Listen to a song from that album, or Someday Came Suddenly, then compare it to this, or Last Breath. Such a huge change. I love them so much. I NEVER say that a band is my favorite band, I haven't ever since AC/DC when I was in third/fourth grade, but I might dare to say that Attack Attack! is my favorite band.

It's called diversity. Each album sounds different but still has that Attack Attack! feel, which makes this band amazing. Their diversity is what makes them my all time favorite band. They have different sounds for what I'm feeling that day and I absolutely love it.

I loved both Attack Attack! and Someday Came Suddenly, but no one wants them to remake it. They're very differnt now but that's because they have grow. From a 6 to a 5 to a 4 piece, from amazing to amazing to amazing!
@ItsGregTheSpider . I get your point. I don't mean throw away the screams altogether. I like them. But the lighter use of the techno stuff would be better. I loved the last album. The techno is cool but they almost seem to lean too heavily on it. This shows more musical control. The keyboard sound in this song would be awesome to hear more of. I like this style for them. The new vox just fit this style better.

From what I've heard this is just an experiment that they're doing to see what Calebs voice can do. Also what people don't seem to realize is that if a record label wants you to change your style.... you either listen or don't get the money to make a record.
